Haute couture expert and beauty retailer Chanel has just unveiled two new retail spaces at Saks Fifth Avenue’s New York Flagship store. Our very own BellaSugar, who was covering all the beauty trends from Fashion Week, had a chance to check out the newly renovated fragrance and beauty counter, which is said to offer customers an "exclusive environment to experience the world of Chanel in an innovative way." Now for the part that interests me — the illuminated manuscript!

Oh, Karl! First we find out you own a whopping 70 iPods, and then I see that Chanel has joined the iPhone revolution and added a Chanel app to the App Store?!
You're trying to give me a very pleasant heart attack, clearly.

The faux Porsche Cayenne cell phone that recently hit the market in Asia got me thinking about all the luxury phones we've seen in the past few months and the fact that most of them, including the Ferrari, cater to a car-obsessed male audience.
Sure, we have the Prada and Gucci phones, but why aren't more designers lining up to create simple and sophisticated designer cell phones?
At this point nearly every woman, man and even most children have their own cell phones, but models are stylistically very limited.

What's in the fashion designer water? Something geeky I presume, because first I saw that Space Invaders dress in French Connection (not even ThinkGeek!), then Chanel and Style.com created iPhone apps, and now this: Alice McCall is creating a line for Topshop that will incorporate prints inspired by Atari video games.
It'll premiere September 25th in Topshop stores, and let me tell you I cannot wait to rock my Pong ball gown, mmm kay?

No doubt, it may be torture some days to not be an iPhone or iPod Touch user and have to read about some cool new Chanel or Netflix app from iPhone's App Store when you're an avowed BlackBerry or Palm smartphone user. Windows Mobile may have its good points, but a cool feature like the App Store is not one of them. .

If you've watched the previous seasons of the The Hills you know that the ladies love their smartphones and iMacs. We went into last night's two-episode Season 3 premiere wondering if Lauren Conrad would upgrade from her beloved BlackBerry, if any of the gang would be sporting a new iPhone and well, if Spencer and Heidi would really get engaged. Some high quality guilty TV time proved there could be more cell phones than drama this season.

Bluetooth headphones have enough trouble bridging the geek and chic gap given their funky shape and the fact that they are attached to your ear, so I'm not sure there's any hope for these Bluetooth sunglasses, which are being tested by the FCC. These stunner shades are a product of a Motorola and Oakley collaboration and apparently use a Bluetooth connection to stream music from your cellphone or Bluetooth-equipped portable music player. What do you think, would you wear them or will you wait for the Chanel or Marc Jacobs editions?
