I'm so used to seeing Cameron Diaz with her BlackBerry that I had to do a double take when I realized the actress was spotted holding a laptop — an actual MacBook Air and a first-gen Kindle — today in New York City. She must have wanted to show off the gadget goods because we all know her oversized handbags would easily hold her wallet, cell, day planner, a Kindle and a teeny weeny Air. Though, I must say, the sweater matching the laptop and Kindle case is pretty geek chic.
Picture Perfect Tech: Cell Phones From What Happens in Vegas
I guess you could say I've been on a bit of a movie kick lately, seeing Iron Man and all its tech treats two short weeks ago and then back to the theaters this past weekend for some hilarious What Happens in Vegas action.
This movie features Cameron Diaz who plays Joy, a stockbroker from Manhattan, and the leading man Jack, played by Ashton Kutcher. Both meet in Vegas for a wild night out on the town and find themselves dealing with a lot more than they bargained for once the night is over.

Japanese cell phone manufacturer SoftBank sure knows how to pick 'em! First with Brad Pitt in his action-packed sexy commercials, and now with Cameron Diaz working it in various print ads (she's already been featured in a few fun and flirty SoftBank commercials as well).
This flashy new ad is gracing the pages of Life & Style this week, and although I can't make out what model of phone it is, SoftBank sure does grab my attention!

Wasn't it just a few short weeks ago that we spotted Jessica Biel with her unique orange BlackBerry gel case? And I may be mistaken, but I thought Cameron Diaz doesn't usually rock cell phone cases like other celebs? It may be a case of "I didn't know she had it first" or a friend-of-a-friend gave it to me.

Looks like my two-gadget-minimum memo got lost in the mail last week because everyone else seemed to have received theirs! First we saw Cameron Diaz geeking-out with a MacBook Air and a Kindle and now Madonna is back with her two cell phones. It looks like she's tossed in her BlackBerrys for two new and improved handsets — perhaps a G1 from T-Mobile or an HTC Fuze?

Even if I am constantly seeing celebrities who carry their laptops without a bag, I do love the trend of celebs and their BlackBerry gels! Cameron Diaz and Jessica Biel had the same orange gel, while Britney rocked a light blue gel, and now we have edgy-fabulous Rihanna showing off a pretty-in-pink gel!
Since she matched the gel to her outfit that day, I wonder if she has many more that she rotates in and out to match her ensemble.
Picture Perfect Tech: Laptop From The Holiday
In The Holiday Iris, played by Kate Winslet, uses her Sony VAIO to escape heartache by partaking in a house-swap with California native Amanda, played by Cameron Diaz. Winslet effortlessly finds a home exchange website and is instantly connected to Diaz via IM chat, where they finalize details. If only all break-ups were that easy!
