Since I like to plan ahead, I knew that I needed to fully juice my laptop battery the night before WWDC in order to be maxed out for the two-hour live-blogging event the next day. But unfortunately, unlike the new Macbooks that were announced at the Apple keynote, mine does not last for seven hours. I'm lucky to get two and a half!

Need a break from all the Apple stuff? Before there were iPhone addicts, the original handheld attention-robber was the BlackBerry. Nicknamed CrackBerry for its similarity to the dangerous drug, those of us with the affliction were affected almost as badly as addicts to its namesake (though we kept our looks).

Forget gambling addiction, the multiplayer online role-playing game World of Warcraft has just reached 11.5 million subscribers worldwide.
The game, by Blizzard Entertainment, released its second expansion of the game called Wrath of the Lich King this past November, which sold 2.8 copies in just 24 hours. I'm not a huge WoW fan, but actress Mila Kunis claims to be obsessed with it, and we've heard that its on-going gameplay nature has a tendency to tear couples apart.

I had been looking forward to playing Mirror's Edge since the early months of 2008, all the while hoping it was going to live up to the hype I had heard swirling around it. The good news is, this first-person action title is beautiful to look at, it's a great way to break out of a RPG rut (note to self: must stop playing Fable II), and I was able to do things I had never done before in a game. The bad news?

Fellow techie Cat Schwartz has already given us the inside scoop on how to properly clean your gadgets inside and out before putting them up on Ebay or Craigslist, but in order to get some serious inquiries, you gotta post a photo of your item as well. If you're like me, a photo can make or break a decision on buying something, cause if the photo is bad, what does that say about the seller (and their standards)?
The first thing you'll want to do is make sure the item is clean — duh!

A classic power struggle engulfed the fleet this week as Roslin (and a ton of fighter pilots, which means bad news for the fleet) went missing on the Cylon base ship. Although Athena may have endangered the status of the truce, the Cylons on the missing ship don't know that Natalie is dead...yet. This is setting up to be a huge cliff hanger before Battlestar Galactica takes a Summer break!

Whether we're headed on a wild Spring Break excursion, to our parents' house for a formal Easter dinner, or out to celebrate the first day of Spring, we all want to look our best on camera. Here are a few of my favorite tips for looking and feeling good on camera:
- Pose like a celebrity! — Rihanna and Jenna Jameson love the over-the-shoulder pose because it flaunts your back and draws attention to detail of your gown if it's backless or really ornate.

Words like "geek," "techie" and "diva" can drum up some nasty stereotypes, but Gina Hughes, the Chief Editor and Founder of TechieDiva, seems to embody only the sugar-sweet aspects of each and her site is anything but diva-driven. Like geeksugar, TechieDiva showcases fun gadgets, iPods, cell phones as well as practical services and killer applications. We fell for Gina because of her inherent ability to merge technology and style and her aptitude for keeping us entertained and coming back for more everyday.

Shows like Beauty and the Geek give male geeks a bad rep. I have news for you folks, not all geeks think pocket-protectors and worn corduroy pants are trendy. In fact, I know plenty of fellas that showcase the very best of geekiness: smarts, passion, chic clothing, success in their field and the ability to program your TiVo, computer or Blackberry when you’re not in the mood.
