Natasha Bedingfield Gets Down With Boogie Superstar

EA announced yesterday that Natasha Bedingfield will be the official spokesperson for their newest singing and dancing game called Boogie Superstar. Why Superstar? Well, the fact that there are 40 new tracks by stars like The Jonas Brothers, Fall Out Boy, Leona Lewis, Katy Perry, my man Kanye, and of course Natasha herself, makes it a pretty big deal. Exclusively for your Wii system, Boogie Superstar is like a DDR/Singstar mash-up that not only has you showing off your vocal prowess, but uses the Wii's motion sensing technology to have you perform a sweat-inducing dance routine as well.

You could play alone in your room, but why not battle it out with your buds to see who can outperform who on Paula Abdul's new track? It will be like American Idol in your own living room, minus the crazy judges. Limber up and start your voice lessons now, cause Boogie Superstar will hit the shelves this October!

YumSugar has informed me that Pringles will be rolling out their new concept called Pringles Stix next Spring and will be celebrating the arrival of the wheaty treats by teaming up with Nintendo and going on a seven city tour.

The tour, which will stop in Charlotte, Greensboro, Raleigh, Jacksonville, Atlanta, Montgomery and Birmingham, will offer hungry gamers free samples, a look at a new Wii game called Boogie and a chance to win a Wii Game Kit, includes the console and wii-mote, some Wii points and likely some Stix.

The talk of gaming and Pringles got me thinking about gamer food. You're probably not eating a gamer candy bar every time you whip out the Playstation, but what do you grub on?

I am not sure if the ballerinas of Black Swan captured the American imagination, or if Dancing With the Stars and So You Think You Can Dance are inspiring more and more women to boogie for fitness, but dance workouts are all the rage, from Zumba to ballet.

Even though I have quite a few friends experimenting with beginning adult ballet classes, I was shocked to see the Rehearsal Tutu ($98) prominently displayed at a San Francisco Lululemon store. Having danced most of my life, I do love a tutu - the feminine tulle, the extra fluff at my hips. Sure, they're cute, but I am not sure I would don one for a studio class with a ballet mistress.

David Beckham and the Boys Make a Splash as They Boogie Board in Malibu

David Beckham had his three sons, Romeo, Brooklyn, and Cruz, along yesterday as he navigated the Malibu waves. David and the boys hopped on their boogie boards and enjoyed an afternoon on the water together. Surfing is one of the family's favorite hobbies, and the Beckham guys are taking advantage of the last weeks of Summer near their beach rental with lots of time hanging ten. Victoria Beckham has been keeping a low profile since giving birth to their first daughter, Harper Seven, in June. David splits his duties between practice and matches with the LA Galaxy, keeping his boys busy, and bonding with his new little one. David says he loves bottle-feeding Harper and has also been sharing lots of photos of his girl on Twitter since her birth. The proud dad even got another tattoo in her honor!

David Beckham started his afternoon in Malibu yesterday with a bite to eat at Cafe Habana, then headed home on his motorcycle. His sons, Brooklyn, Cruz, and Romeo, also ventured out for a snack, joining family members for some ice cream. Later in the day, there was more David Beckham shirtless time when he threw on board shorts to go boogie boarding with Brooklyn. The pair rode waves and shared a high five before packing up for a meal with Victoria - David made risotto and shared a photo on Facebook! It's likely he'll miss out on eating with his loved ones tonight, though, since the LA Galaxy are scheduled to play the Columbus Crew at 7:30 p.m. PDT.

David Beckham was back on the beach in Malibu this weekend joined by his sons, Cruz, Romeo, and Brooklyn, and close family friend Gordon Ramsay. Gordon brought his kids out to the Beckhams' Summer beach rental in order to visit Victoria and baby Harper. David and the boys have become pros at maneuvering through the waves during their daily surf sessions. David kept his rash guard on while swimming in the ocean, but it's his fit physique that earned Beckham the honor of "Body of the Year," alongside Dame Helen Mirren, in a new poll conducted by LA Fitness. We can all expect to see more of his toned abs and chiseled arms in early 2012 when David's first underwear collaboration with H&M is released. The LA Galaxy took on the Vancouver Whitecaps Saturday night and went on to win 4-0 despite David not being on the field. David served out his one-game suspension and should be back in with his team Wednesday night when the Galaxy host the Portland Timbers.
