In case you missed it, it's November, which means Thanksgiving is right around the corner, Christmas will soon arrive and before you can shout "Happy New Year," it'll be 2010. Not to put the pressure on you, but November doesn't just mean turkey and stuffing — it means Black Friday. I predict that this year, good deals and sales will be more important than ever to get people in the stores to shop for gifts, so be on top of it all with the Dealnews Black Friday app.

Now that your tummys are full from a Thanksgiving feast, and with the biggest shopping day of the year less than 24 hours away, it's time for me to equip you with some advice, tips, and helpful websites, so you're fully prepared for Black Friday mania! First thing's first, the websites you can scan to see what time certain stores open their doors and to find out what the top deals are for the day. The top three sites I've come across include the Official Black Friday Site, the TGI Black Friday Site and if you are a Twitter user (I have my own page now!) you can get all the Black Friday deals by following Twitter user blackfriday_fm.

Thanks to a leaked ad that just hit the Internet, we can now get a sneak peek at some of Circuit City's Black Friday sales. Some noteworthy discounts include $100 off select Garmin GPS units and HP Pavilion laptops going for $399. And considering that Circuit City is having some financial issues, I'm sure there will be a lot more where that came from!

Almost 70 percent of you said that you would hold off buying electronics this holiday season because of the economy. Well the Consumer Electronics Association predicts that holiday spending will drop by 14 percent this year, but in terms of gadgets, people are willing to cut other expenses — like going to the movies, or a gym membership — just so they can pick up the latest cell phone or notebook.
