I normally find Live! With Regis and Kelly quite entertaining — especially with the banter between co-hosts — but yesterday my favorite celeb geek king, Ashton Kutcher, not only joined Kelly Ripa in a hosting chair, but also he brought along his beloved MacBook Pro. .

Tech-savvy Ashton Kutcher is certainly deserving of our celeb geek king title. What with his avid twittering habits, his new website projects, attendance at tech conferences, and love for gadgets, he certainly tops the list of celebrities who are connected in the tech scene.
On Wednesday, Ashton made a cameo on the hit show Diggnation at the Palms Casino Resort.

In the latest issue of Portfolio magazine, newly crowned celeb geek king Ashton Kutcher tells us that although he isn't good at spelling stepdaughter Tallulah's name (it is a hard name to spell), he is good at math, and isn't afraid to make the jump from the red carpet to the tech world.
With Ashton and his company, Katalyst Media, involved in so many projects, it's pretty hard to keep up. There's a custom advertising site called Saysme, the ooma Internet phone company he helped to launch, and of course, Blah Girls, which drew some criticism from Silicon Valley insiders at last year's TechCrunch conference saying it "offered little in the way of new technology."

Since it's Friday, I couldn't think of a better excuse to bring you three heapings of techjoyment — because I know and you know, it's been awhile! Ashton is the geeky leader of the pack with his sexy and sleek iPhone 3G; then there's Barack rockin' what appears to be his beloved BlackBerry; and last but not least, Tom Cruise snapping some photos with his BB Bold at Daytona this week. Allow me to label them our three cell phone musketeers.

While other celebrities are busy boasting about how they don't know how to turn on a computer, Ashton Kutcher is right on top of tech. He's outfitted with gadgets and has come to love social networking and learning how to be a part of the Internet revolution. He's got his hands in so many different areas of tech that I now must crown him the reigning tech celebrity king (trust me, it's a pretty important title).

Doesn't it suddenly seem like Ashton Kutcher is in more tech news than Steve Jobs these days? He's got a new website, he's in Nikon commercials, he's ranting on Qik, showing his wife what's up On Twitter, he's hanging out with Kevin Rose — and now he's all up in Facebook too.
Ashton has a new web series called Katalyst HQ, and it's being hosted on Facebook via the FunSpace app.

Just two months shy of geeking out with Samantha Ronson at the TechCrunch50/MySpace Party, I found myself at another fabulous MySpace party last night at the beautiful Old Mint building in San Francisco — hello?! Lionel Richie performed! This time, it was a MySpace 2.0 party celebrating MySpace Music and the latest partnership between Ashton Kutcher's production company, Katalyst Media, and MySpace.

Who better to showcase Nikon's fancy new camera, the D90 D-SLR ($1,000) than their sexy spokesman Ashton Kutcher — who we've previously spotted with the Nikon Coolpix compact cam. The D90 is raising a lot of eyebrows since it's the first D-SLR in the entire world to shoot HD video in three different motion JPEG formats: 320-x-216 pixels, 640-x-424 pixels, and 1,280-x-720 pixels. And with 12.3-megapixel image quality, in-camera editing that allows you to straighten, reduce red eye, or add Fisheye effects and more, the D90 lives up to all of its expectations.
