May 13 2009 - 11:35am I'm pretty low maintenance when I'm lucky enough to hit the beach or the pool in the summertime, requiring only some sunscreen, chapstick, and a book — but I cannot leave my iPhone behind (um, I do realize that this may make me high maintenance, but I'm ignoring that).
I need my lifeline to the outside world as well as my iPod, plus I know it's not that weird — celebrities are always photographed using their cell phones while poolside. Just yesterday Ashley Tisdale was caught in a skimpy bikini,
checking a BlackBerry (um, I do realize that rationalizing that something is normal because a celebrity does it is not a good argument, but I'm ignoring that).

I always have my cell when i go to the beach..you never know what emergency might happen at the same time is very fun to tease friends with pics...being envied is bliss
1yes. it's got my playlists on them so not only do i bring it to stay connected incase of emergency but i also use it to listen to my music while i'm getting a tan.
2time can get away from you while relaxing at the beach so i like to use the songs as a way to know when to reapply sunscreen and flip over so i get an even tan & no sunburn!!
I can't think of a time or place where I wouldn't have my iPhone. It's my job to stay connected. And actually I've so thankful for the iPhone as I used to have to drag my computer everywhere.
3The beach is my backyard, so all the time. Haha!
4It's been so long since I've hung out at a pool or beach that I didn't have a cell phone back then. Now, of course I would have it. Why not? The only thing I would be worried about is someone swiping it if I didn't have anyone to watch my stuff.
5i live in miami so i practically live at the beach and i always have my iPhone with me. we take ipod speakers and take turns connecting our ipods and iPhones
6Oh, totally. I live in Florida, too (St. Pete), and I rarely hit the beach without my cell phone. I mostly just take it so that I know what time it is, though, because I can't usually hear well enough to actually TALK on the phone while I'm there!
7I do but I don't have an iphone so I can't see the screen in the sunlight at all.
