If the movies Clueless, Mean Girls, and Pretty in Pink can be turned into video games, are you actually surprised that Eidos is creating an America's Next Top Model video game for the Nintendo DS? You'll take control of one model, and just like the show, aspiring models will compete in challenges related to fashion, makeup, photo shoots and they'll even get to test out their catwalk skills. After the competitions, scores will be tallied and one model will be eliminated.

Networks like The CW and NBC are trying to tap into highly trafficked social networking sites like MySpace by offering video streams of popular TV shows. According Broadcasting & Cable, when The CW promoted America's Next Top Model on MySpace, their season-premiere ratings increased 36 percent among teens compared to its 2005 debut.
With over 61.5 unique visitors in January and even more in February, MySpace has become one of the best places for networks to showcase their goods.

No this isn't a post about America's next top avatars contest, but it is about the model-like beauties of Second Life. Based on Andy Warhol's short films: 13 Most Beautiful Women and 13 Most Beautiful Boys comes a serious of canvas mounted portrait prints by the Italian artists Eva and Franco Mattes. Actual Second Lifers originally created these creative avatars.

If you've ever seen my lookbook, you know I don't have my America's Next Top Model poses down. I don't know what it is, but I'm just not one of those women that can jump right into a camera-ready angle in two seconds and it's not like I'm the hunchback of Notre Dame or anything. When considering this I got to thinking, what are the best camera angles and why is it that the camera adds 10 pounds?
