Who knew America Ferrera was all about the bling? While getting brainy with Brain Age, America battles a pal to see who can complete the math portion quicker (and find out who has a younger brain) in this upcoming spot for Nintendo. I love how she has pimped out her metallic rose DS with all that bling — how geek chic!

Nothing better than settling in late on Sunday night with a new episode of Iron Chef America (I know, I know, the original may be better, but I live for Bobby Flay and Mario Batali) and watching the venerable chefs and challengers dig in to some crazy secret ingredient. The excitement comes from the competition almost more than it does the exquisite-looking food — so it makes total sense that the show could be worked into a game for the Wii!
Additionally, Iron Chef America: Supreme Cuisine has added the voices and likenesses of Masaharu Morimoto and Batali (look at how adorable their little Miis are) to the Wii and Nintendo DS games.

OK, I promised you a full recap about my event-filled Saturday — the flight, the WiFi test drive, and the YouTube Live Event — and here it is! Testing out Virgin America's first WiFi enabled plane with Gogo Inflight Internet among other tech enthusiasts was a rush in itself, but heading to the first official YouTube Live event here in San Francisco was icing on the cake to a spectacular day.
To see how I made out with the Gogo WiFi service during the flight and to see some YouTube Vlogging stars and celebs I ran into at the event, check out my slideshow!

I've got quite the geeky day planned, and I had to share my excitement with guys! First, I'm packing my bags and heading to San Francisco International Airport to board a Virgin America plane — I'm not really going anywhere, per se, but the short flight will be showing off GoGo's new in-flight WiFi! Then afterward, drum roll please — I am hitting up the YouTube Live event!

No pun intended, but I haven't had the pleasure of flying high in the sky with Virgin America just yet — even though they are the mac-daddies of total-tech airlines. With mood lighting, MP3s on every flight, a 110v power adapter in each seat, personal-ordering screens, in-flight entertainment systems, and best of all competitive prices, I can't think of one good reason why I haven't tested out this hot new airline.
Speaking of hot, Virgin America's ads are quite steamy with slogans like "Whatever turns you on" and pictures of voluptuous women.

If the movies Clueless, Mean Girls, and Pretty in Pink can be turned into video games, are you actually surprised that Eidos is creating an America's Next Top Model video game for the Nintendo DS? You'll take control of one model, and just like the show, aspiring models will compete in challenges related to fashion, makeup, photo shoots and they'll even get to test out their catwalk skills. After the competitions, scores will be tallied and one model will be eliminated.

Virgin America, a new airline that began service on August 8th and is quickly gaining a reputation for its techie features, has announced that it is partnering with AirCell in an effort aimed at offering air-to-ground broadband internet service on Virgin America flights sometime in 2008.
Guests onboard the airline will be able to access the internet either through their wifi-enabled personal devices or through the RedInflight Entertainment system at every seat. According to a press release, the system is anticipated to allow guests to connect to the internet with the AirCell Broadband Service, using either their Red seatback video screens or their own wifi enabled portable gaming devices, laptops, PDAs or Smartphones.

AT&T and Verizon clearly don't get along — after several commercials and one lawsuit, the feud doesn't look like it's ending anytime soon. Today in AT&T vs. Verizon drama: a new AT&T commercial features a checklist of reasons AT&T is better than Verizon, and why you, too, should believe that AT&T is the best wireless network in America.

A few weeks ago a bunch of us Sugar folk flew down to Los Angeles for a very geek-chic party on Virgin America.
It was the first time some of us had flown the relatively new airline (it launched in August 2007) and we took full advantage of the plane's Red inflight system by instant messaging one another and playing around with the onboard games. While we had fun chatting, we concluded the system still needs a bit of work (adding passengers to the chat wasn't exactly intuitive) and after about a half hour we went back to talking to one another.
