However you watched Michael Jackson's memorial, we all have our own ways of dealing with the loss of a cultural icon. For my friends, it was by pulling out something dusty from the back of a closet: a Sega console and a copy of — wait for it — Michael Jackson's 1990 video game Moonwalker.
We blew out the game and hooked it up, and like Jackson himself, gameplay is a pretty outrageous.

When I was a kid, I remember getting out a stack of my mom's recipe cards and making my very own set of math flash cards. I'd like to think they helped me learn my times tables, but nonetheless, it was useful practicing in the Summer months because I'd be ahead of the game when school started.
Whether you've got children, young cousins, or brothers and sisters that are in the throws of learning arithmetic, this Math Flash Cards iPhone app is a great way to test them on all the basics.

There's nothing more torturous than seeing a gorgeous sunny day outside, children laughing, dogs running, grass growing. . .

A man after my own heart, Mike Fahey is a game addict. Currently helping to hold down the East Coast office of Kotaku, and ripping through game after game so you don't have to, Mike is a man of many hats. He's been everything from an arcade attendant (totally expected) to a vinyl sign cutter (huh?), but still, his love for games made him who he is today.

We all know the dangers of letting children (or even childish adults) wander around on social networking sites without supervision. Issues like cyber bullying and cyber stalking are things we hear about everyday, but an even scarier subject is one that involves sexual predators. How do you know that the nice 14-year-old girl your daughter met on MySpace is really a nice 14-year-old girl?

Greenpeace recently did a study on gaming consoles and found that the level of toxic chemicals used to manufacture them were higher than what's allowed in children's toys.
The study was conducted on a PlayStation 3, an Xbox 360 and a Wii, all bought in Europe (where they don't classify game consoles as toys). All consoles were guilty of containing toxics like Phthalates, bromium, and PVC — which pose a threat to both the environment and sexual development in humans.

May is yet another month packed full of movie-to-game titles that I hope (fingers crossed) will be as awesome as the films are. I've been putting in mega OT with Mario Kart and GTA IV, and I hope to add a few more to my schedule this week to give you more in depth reviews so that you can make an informed decision on which ones are worth dropping some cash on! Which games are you looking forward to?

Wedding season has just kicked off on the Sugar Network, and since you've already shared the good news (and being the geek that I am), first things first — showing you how to get your very own wedding website up and running! Years ago, having your own wedding website meant paying a hefty fee to a computer nerd to build it for you. Nowadays, you can create your own beautiful site with user-friendly software — usually for free!

Only in my dreams do I get to hang out on a yacht and scuba dive with a never ending oxygen supply while I photograph the sea creatures of the South Pacific. Such is life in Endless Ocean. I couldn't wait to get my hands on the latest Wii title, hoping that it would satisfy my childhood urge to be a Marine Biologist.

Last night I was faced with the task of putting new ink cartridges in my boyfriend's printer and was reminded of how tricky it is to open hard clamshell packaging. It's honestly a battle I confront multiple times a week, so I decided it was time to do a little research. Why do manufactures make it so complicated?
