Jul 11 2008 - 1:00am Since last year's launch of the iPhone was so crazy, I didn't want to miss my chances of becoming a proud 3G owner. So I cruised by the Apple store in downtown San Francisco last night to check out the line, and assess my chances of getting my hands on the must have device of the Summer. Although you've heard people have already been lined up for days outside the New York Apple store, and others are offering to wait in line for you (for a nominal fee, of course), the scene outside the Apple store in SF wasn't as frenzied as I would have thought.
