Just ahead of tomorrow's Verizon iPhone launch, the company announced its pricing options for service plans. A basic voice plan including 450 minutes per month will cost $40; a voice and text plan (including unlimited text messages) will cost $60. The previously announced unlimited data plan will run customers $30 per month, and, as expected, there will be an optional $20 mobile hotspot supplement.

In contrast, AT&T no longer offers an unlimited data option but does have a $25 data option for up to 2GB of data per month. Potential Verizon iPhone customers, don't forget: the unlimited data option is only available for a limited time, so don't snooze on ordering your new phone! Here's everything you need to know.

Good news for Verizon customers who plan on upgrading to the iPhone 4 next month: you'll have a chance to do so before the rest of the Apple-hungry, AT&T-ditching masses. Verizon has confirmed that existing customers will get first crack at ordering, starting at 12 a.m. PST on Feb. 3. Trust me, you won't want to sleep in. In fact, you'll need to be ready for ordering online, have an open My Verizon account, and quick fingers — supplies are very limited, and orders will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis. Get your order in, and your brand new iPhone 4 will arrive via Fed Ex two-day air.

Not surprisingly, Verizon is ramping up its new device trade-in program and sweetening the deal for AT&T customers at the same time. Not only are they passing out $200 debit cards for recently-new customers, allowing eligible customers to use their New Every Two credits, and launching the iPhone 4 with unlimited data packages, but it's also offering cash credits to lure customers over from AT&T.

One of the major pluses coming out of the iPhone 4's move to Verizon is the ability to link up five other devices to a built-in mobile 3G hotspot. While the company hadn't previously released information regarding data plans and hotspot charges, Verizon is letting it all hang out today. We already know that the iPhone 4 will come with an unlimited data plan for $30 a month (for a limited time), and now Verizon has confirmed that using the mobile hotspot will cost you an additional $20 for 2GB of shared data.

While $50 for data doesn't seem like that much, tack on the minimum $60 talk and text plan, and you begin to realize just how much this iPhone 4 is really costing you — upwards of $1,300 a year — if you don't go over your limits. For example, each additional GB on your hotsopot will set you back another $20. Ouch.

Verizon held off on announcing its data plan pricing for its new iPhone 4 during this month's press event, which brought up some cost concerns. However, the company has confirmed that it will be offering an unlimited data package for just $30 a month. With AT&T's recent restructuring of its data plans last year, this news may give Verizon a leg up by enticing new subscribers to head on over to its network and finally get its large population of feature phone users to upgrade to a full-fledged smartphone.

Unless you've been living under a rock for the past 24 hours, you should know by now that the iPhone 4 will be coming to Verizon on Feb. 10. Not only does the Verizon iPhone come with some internal changes, like the new CDMA cellular chip, but since the antenna has been rearranged, the iPhone's volume and mute buttons have been pushed slightly farther down the body of the phone. Although Verizon will be ending its upgrade discount programs this month, existing customers who want a new iPhone will get a reprieve. It's been confirmed that Verizon will be honoring its New Every Two credits for eligible customers who wish to purchase a new iPhone.

According to the Verizon iPhone FAQs (and a representative), existing and eligible customers can redeem their credits for an iPhone, even though the program is slated to be axed starting on Jan. 16. Have no fear, your iPhone is near.

According to The Wall Street Journal, the iPhone is finally coming to Verizon. It will be announced at a press conference on Tuesday in New York. Verizon sent invitations to members of the press today, and as reported earlier, Apple has barred employees from taking vacations between Feb. 3 and Feb. 6, suggesting they'll need all hands on deck for preorder or sale of the device.

No word yet from Verizon or Apple, and it's not yet known if Steve Jobs will be in attendance for the red carpet event.
