Tech-savvy Ashton Kutcher is certainly deserving of our celeb geek king title. What with his avid twittering habits, his new website projects, attendance at tech conferences, and love for gadgets, he certainly tops the list of celebrities who are connected in the tech scene.
On Wednesday, Ashton made a cameo on the hit show Diggnation at the Palms Casino Resort. Co-host Alex Albrecht had his signature red Dell with him throughout the show, while Digg founder Kevin Rose was using his covered up MacBook Pro. Who else was rocking a MacBook Pro? Ashton. An iPhone 3G plus MacBook Pro tells me this guy is no stranger to an Apple store . . . just sayin'.
I always did love Chandler the most: former Friends star Matthew Perry has been making the rounds lately for his role in 17 Again as an old Zac Efron, but he's got my attention for an entirely different reason: He's a huge gamer, obsessed with the Wii game Klonoa.
After mentioning that he was playing Klonoa a lot, Perry addressed his flock on Twitter with a funny and only slightly disturbing tweet:
Many of you have asked what klonoa game I am playing. It's the new one on the wii. I'm at level six. I play with my pants around my ankles.
And thank you for sharing.
What happens when celebrities who are so used to having the lights and flashes pointed at them turn the cameras on themselves, their fans, or better yet — the paparazzi?! Not too long ago I showcased some celebs having fun with their Flip video cameras, and now it's time to display those with their old school video cameras and point and shoot cams as well. From Tom Brady to Janet Jackson, you'll see them all working their photography and video skills here!
Since it's Friday, I couldn't think of a better excuse to bring you three heapings of techjoyment — because I know and you know, it's been awhile! Ashton is the geeky leader of the pack with his sexy and sleek iPhone 3G; then there's Barack rockin' what appears to be his beloved BlackBerry; and last but not least, Tom Cruise snapping some photos with his BB Bold at Daytona this week. Allow me to label them our three cell phone musketeers.
Not only is Clive Owen ridiculously handsome, but he's also got great communication skills! While waiting for his luggage at LAX the other day, Clive was rocking not one, but two BlackBerry Curves — one silver and one gold. I guess you could say he was pulling a Lindsay and a Madonna by being dually-connected, but whatever the case, let me bask in this sexy techjoyment moment.
