Pretty In Pink Vintage Typewriter Is the Real Deal

I don't know what it is about this 1950s Pink Royal Typewriter — maybe the fact that it's ridiculously adorable, 100 percent authentic, or because it actually works — but I'm lovin' every square inch of this antique machinery.

I don't know what it is about this 1950s Pink Royal Typewriter — maybe the fact that it's ridiculously adorable, 100 percent authentic, or because it actually works — but I'm lovin' every square inch of this antique machinery.

Because most of you can appreciate manual typewriters, you'll be happy to know that every button on this typewriter works — it even has touch control so you can adjust how hard you want to type on the keys. And I love the fact that it comes in the original tweed carrying case, so you really get the full vintage experience.

Unfortunately it's just as expensive as a new netbook with a price tag of $425, so for now I'm just going to stare and not spend.

Earphones That I Still Can't Believe Are Only $50

In my day, I've tested out my fair share of earphones.

In my day, I've tested out my fair share of earphones. Oddly enough, I'm not one of those people that can wear Apple's standard earphones — call it abnormally shaped ears, I don't know, I just can't wear em'. I definitely have a top three list of earphones that rock my world, but the problem is, they are waaay too expensive. And when I say overpriced, I mean you can't just run out and buy another pair if a) you lose 'em or b) they get trampled on at the gym (it happens).

I talked about Radius last year when they debuted their line of colorful ultra light aluminum earphones; well, this year they're back with a new line of ergonomic, oh so hip, and perfectly-fitting earphones called the Atomic Bass Earphones. Now a pair of these earphones are $50, and I know $50 isn't considered "cheap" but let me tell you, they offer the same sound quality as a $150 pair. If you want a cheap pair that offers zero bass, then pick up a $20 pair, but these ones output sound that is crystal clear and they have bass! Personally, I love me some bass with my tunes and these deliver just the right amount.

And did I mention they fit comfortably in your ear (they come with three different sizes of silicone ear pieces), are available in silver, black, and red and they include a high performance mic?! Yes, they are iPhone 3G friendly indeed.

The Pink Lomo: A Pink Gadget Even I Can Love

I know I'm totally all over the place about my stance on pink gadgets.

I know I'm totally all over the place about my stance on pink gadgets. On the one hand, I hate that it's a go-to color weakly used to market gadgets to women.

On the other hand, when a gadget is merely offered in pink additionally, and not just in a "It's pink! For girls!" way, I can be into it. Especially if it's hot pink. This The Mr. Pink Diana Lomo Camera ($105) in hot, hot pink demonstrates my point.

The fact that its name references an awesome (if pretty masculine) movie also gets it on my good side. Oh Lomo, you can't really do any wrong.

Etsy seller michellechristina is back (we debuted her colorful creations last year) with more designs to choose from and in many more hot colors. My latest fave? Her collection of bubble decals which will spruce up the exterior of your laptop for only $13. If the pink is a bit too much for you, I also like the subtle white, black, and silver designs. And if you really want to go color crazy, there's a rainbow of colors to choose from.

Pink Patent Leather Laptop Sleeve: Love It or Leave It?

Pink patent leather? Where do I sign up?

Pink patent leather? Where do I sign up? The Virginia Computer Sleeve ($98) from fabulous handbag designer Rebecca Minkoff has me wanting to give the bubblegum treatment to my computer.

Oh, there's a conservative part of me that wants to decry this as saccharine and cheesy as some of Juicy Couture's laptop bags, but the fun, carefree part of me (not coincidentally, the same part of me that is sick of all the gray outside and dying for Spring color) says give me that pretty pink patent thing.

It may only be a laptop sleeve that Barbie could love, but then again, I did always kind of admire her style, and it looks like I'm not the only one!

Gadget-Loving Brand: Juicy Couture

Juicy Couture's over-the-top style hasn't stopped at sweatsuits or apparel; in recent years they've branched out into gadget accessories, including cases for laptops and cell phones. They've even gone so far as to create their own peripherals! Sometimes the results are precious, sometimes tacky, but never, ever boring. Check out my slideshow of Juicy's contributions to the gadget accessory world.

Spoil a Gamer Girl With a Wii Carrying Case This V-Day

Because most of you loved the Monogrammed Wii Travel Case, I knew I couldn't stop there when it comes to Wii carrying cases.

Because most of you loved the Monogrammed Wii Travel Case, I knew I couldn't stop there when it comes to Wii carrying cases. I've got another cheapie for you, that TeamSugar user willowdiamond found, and it's totally cute and functional.

This pink Wii Travel Carrying Case is made from rugged material and is specifically designed to carry your Wii and accessories. It also comes with a detachable shoulder strap for easy carrying and thick padding — so you don't have to worry about your Wii getting destroyed in the overhead compartment on a flight. I guess this means I better retire that yellow Forever 21 bag that doubled as my Wii carrying case.

And if pink doesn't do it for you, they also come in silver and black.

Pick Up a Pearl For $20 From Verizon

It's not everyday you see prices like this — especially for a BlackBerry — so I had to share the news in case you've been holding out for one for awhile.

It's not everyday you see prices like this — especially for a BlackBerry — so I had to share the news in case you've been holding out for one for awhile. Verizon is now offering the pink and silver BlackBerry Pearl 8130 for $19.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate. Yes, you'll still need to be locked into a two-year contract, but for this fantastic price, I doubt you'll have many regrets. I don't think I've ever spotted a BlackBerry this cheap — actually, not true — I came across a $0 Pearl deal in Ontario, Canada, over the holidays. Not too shabby of a way to start 2009 if you ask me!

Samsung's Instinct Will Cost You a Pretty Penny at Best Buy

One of Samsung's most popular handsets, the Instinct, will soon be coming to Best Buy — in the pink version.

One of Samsung's most popular handsets, the Instinct, will soon be coming to Best Buy — in the pink version. Sweet, right? The only catch is it will cost $599, which is insane in my opinion.

So it does have a touchscreen, a 2-megapixel digital camera, Bluetooth compatibility, and is stylin', but that doesn't explain the hefty price tag. The 8GB iPhone 3G is only $189 at Best Buy, so the math doesn't add up on this one. Just sayin'. Would you pay $599 for this phone?
