Since I don't have cable and use my TV for streaming shows and surfing the Internet, I was pretty stoked to receive the Logitech Couch Mouse M515 ($50) for review. Made to be used on your couch, bed, or carpet, the M515 has a sealed easy gliding base so you don't collect dust or fibers while you're mousing over fabrics. That's great news; since there are no openings on the bottom, you won't find a need for canned air on this mouse!
I spent a few days with the Couch Mouse, and as expected, loved it. Not only does it glide effortlessly over my futon cover, duvet, and low-pile carpet, but I was pleasantly surprised by the responsiveness. It was quick and consistent no matter where I used it. Coming with two AA batteries and a tiny USB receiver (and I mean tiny — don't lose this thing!), I plugged in, and was working away in seconds. The Couch Mouse really lives up to its name, but I had a feeling that you could take it beyond the sofa. Find out where else I got the Couch Mouse to work in this slideshow, and be sure to check out our Facebook page to see why I think all manufacturers should take a cue from the Logitech M515's packaging!

5 Unconventional Computer Mice
Sometimes we just need a gadget to do the job, but most of the time, we want it to be cute too! If your mouse is needing an upgrade, check out these options that are cute, stylish, or just unconventional (and expensive), and maybe you'll find a new way to click!
Turtle Mouse: Love It or Leave It?
It seems that there are an infinite number of ways to create a mouse. Whether it's classy and minimal, or out for attention, mice are an essential part of your computing life (unless you prefer your trackpad, of course). I don't mind a little flair on my mouse, but I find that the more bling it has going on, the more distracted I am when surfing the Internet or trying to work. That said, I'm pretty sure I could go for this USB Turtle Mouse ($12), mostly cause I have a thing for the real deal. However, I wish it were wireless. Call me crazy, but I just don't like the sight of a cord coming out of the little guy's mouth. What do you think?

Disney Gets Serious About Tron Peripherals
I'm excited about the upcoming Tron sequel and I'm not afraid to show it. This year's E3 brought a slew of Tron-inspired electronics and peripherals, and now Disney has made its line official. Coming on strong with iPod docks, office equipment, and gaming controllers, you can turn your home into a Tron shrine of tech goodies, and tide yourself over until the film hits theaters this December. Oh, and the video game looks pretty sick, too.
Notables include the Keyboard ($129), Data Disk iPod Dock ($249), and Xbox 360 controller ($50), which all glow with blue light-up accents. All tech toys will be available this Fall through Amazon, Best Buy, and Gamestop. Check out a few of the items below!
Pump Up the Style on Your Desk With a Logitech Mouse
You don't really think about the kind of impact a good mouse can give to your otherwise boring and dull desk. Me? I'm rocking a plain black one because my sleek Apple mouse bit the dust, and I've yet to replace it with something that "goes" with the rest of my desk decor.
Being the style-conscious geek that I am, I'd totally go for one of these new Logitech Fantasy Collection mice that add a bit of color and pizazz to my desktop space. Coming in a range of colors and styles, this rainbow number just happens to be my fave (and comes in at the lower price point at $30). $30 for a mouse, you ask? Well, sure — the Logitech M310 is contoured to fit leftys and rightys, discreetly plugs into your USB port for wireless mousing, and lasts up to 12 hours on a single battery. The M305 model ($40) even comes with a smart WiFi-ready battery so you never lose connection. Smart, indeed.
Gadgets With Bling: Love It or Leave It?
Bling is back, baby! It wasn't too long ago that we revisited bling with the pink rhinestone-encrusted BlackBerry case (and I bought a blinged-out iPhone case for myself) but now there's a whole new batch of studded, crystal, and diamond covered gadgets for your purchasing pleasure. If you've got the cash flow that is. Check out these new gadgets with a bit of bling, and tell me if you love them, or would rather leave them behind with the polls on each slide!
Which Cool Feature Comes With This Mouse?
This mouse is special — but can you guess why?

Not the Most Ergonomic Mouse, But It's Pretty Cute!
If the products I've been posting are any indication, 2009 was a big year for Lego-themed everything! From MP3 players to alarm clocks, the colorful plastic blocks have inspired a multitude of goodies.
I'm a little bummed it's too late to include this in my Best of 2009 Lego roundup, but it's too fun not to share! The Brick Mouse ($32) is shaped like a red lego block. It works like any mouse, with both left and right click buttons and a scroll wheel for easy navigation. It connects via USB cord, so it is compatible with any computer.
Bamboo Laptop Stand and Mouse Are Eco Chic
It's getting easier to be green and geeky these days. Check out this Laptop Desk and Mouse from Viva Terra, made from sustainable material bamboo.
Besides being earth-conscious, the set is impossibly beautiful, light years more attractive than those metal and plastic laptop stands you find in stores.
Sadly, green is slightly pricey here, as the stand itself costs $69, and the mouse $39. It's not all bad though, when you think of the benefits.
