Weighing in at only 2.9 pounds is the ThinkPad X300, which isn't as slender as the Air, but boasts a built-in optical drive, multiple USB ports, a removable battery and integrated WWAN. Now for the bad news, it's gonna cost you — $2,799 (starting price), compared to the $1,744.00 of the MB Air. That being said, would you pay the extra $1000 for the sleek design and additional features? Total toss up!
