Your iPhone is glued to your hands, whether during the morning commute, lunch break, or wait at the doctor's office. So let a bit of personality shine alongside its sleek industrial design. It's a fun and rather inexpensive way to make the popular gadget all your own.
Despite the Winter weather happening all around us, Case-Mate is prepping its virtual shelves for Spring. The Case-Mate Spring 2012 line is coming soon, and if you've got an iPhone 4 or 4S or iPod Touch, you're in for a treat. Check out the lineup in the gallery and stay tuned for pricing and availability info coming soon.
We initially wrote about the Case-Mate Quartet Case ($35) back in Jan. 2011, but the colorful snap-together case saw a resurgence of sorts at CES after Case-Mate invited attendees to mix-and-match their own from bins of rainbow-colored pieces. Expo-goers seemed to flock to the booth and spent extended periods of time sifting through each bin to find the perfect color theme for their smartphones. Much to the disappointment of Android, BlackBerry, and Windows Phone users though, the Quartet Case (and similar Colorways Case) are limited to the iPhone 4/4S for now.
Designed alongside French designer Erik Arlen, each case comes with six pieces to create an evolving look for your phone, with five different color combinations and themes, including Chantilly lace, high contrast, sensuous silk, rustic tweed, and vintage flannel.
You take so many photos with your iPhone as it is (check out the Instagram #CoolCapture tag for proof!), you might as well make it a full-time gig. Miss the tactile response, look, and feel of a digital or film camera? That's no problem with the iCA iPhone case ($65).
This case, made of tough polycarbonate, keeps your iPhone 4 and 4S protected on all sides and even comes with a set of two lenses — a fisheye and macro — and a detachable tripod mount to get the most out of your shots. The iCA is obviously a little on the bulky side and wouldn't make a great day-to-day case, but is perfect for weekend outings, parties, and gatherings, or when you want to have a bit of fun with your iPhone photography. Coming in black, brown, or white, you can get the color that suits you best. I'm loving the brown for its likeness to the Fujifilm X100 special edition. So classy.

It's not often you find a smartphone case with so much personality, but the Switcheasy Avant-Garde iPhone 4/4S series ($35) has more than enough to go around. Coming in four different styles and various colors, the Blossom, Chateau, Clockwork, and Plank polycarbonite cases are structural, so they really pop with a three-dimensional design. A feast for the eyes and hands, the cases come with a grip-friendly finish and tough corners to keep sensitive impact points covered.
Unexpected and original, your phone will certainly stand out in a sea of plain jane covers.
Kids at heart will love the Connect Design Block Case ($29) for the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S. Not only does this rubber case look like a giant LEGO block, but it comes with a moveable LEGO-like piece to keep your camera lens covered, keep your earphone cords organized, and even act as a stand to keep your phone upright so you can watch videos.
For $29 bucks, I think that's a steal.
Though we're excited for Winter to finally be here, Speck is dreaming of an endless Summer of sand, surf, and old-fashioned wood-paneled cars. How do I know? Well, just take a gander at its new Woody Fitted Case for the iPhone 4/4S. This throwback case is perfect for nature lovers and is only being sold on Speck's site for $50. I can hear the cruel Summer calling already.
The snow is falling, the air is crisp, and it's finally time to break out your Winter wardrobe. But don't forget to dress your favorite accessory — your iPhone! Speck is offering up three seasonal cases ($35 each) just in time for the seasonal change.
Coming in Winter Wonderland Blue, Fresh Mesh, and SweaterBest Gray, these cases are perfect for accessorizing your iPhone 4/4S during your Winter ski trips, or as you play snow bunny and sip hot cocoa by the fireplace. Get a better look at each case in the gallery!
