Bang & Olufsen announced its latest product this morning, an iPhone/iPad/iPod docking station called the BeoSound 8. According to B&O, it's perfect for the living room, patio, kitchen, or even "the Summer house." Coming with two large, round speakers that produce amazing sounds, you can prop the BeoSound 8 up on its included kickstand-like feet, or hang it on any flat surface for easy access. It looks cool, but can you guess the price?Take the Quiz
Boosting your iPad's sound to 11 with the included pair of 3-watt speakers, movies will now sound a heck of a lot better, and you'll be able to watch for longer with the dock connector and sockets for charging. Toss in the fact that you can spin this baby 360 degrees, and your iMac begins to look a little . . . stale. Still, $100? Not sure it's in my budget, but I still kinda love it. What do you think?
Although there's sure to be a boatload of handmade third-party cases hitting the market soon (my fave), Apple has designed its own iPad case to protect your new gadget . . . at a cost, of course. The very businesslike iPad case ($40) doesn't just protect against scratches and scrapes, but it also pulls double duty as a convertible stand for when you're watching movies or TV shows. Other Apple-issued accessories include a keyboard (and accompanying dock) for when you need to do some serious data entry, as well as a charging dock that holds your iPad upright. All accessories will be available when the iPad begins shipping in 60 days.
