While Glee didn't take home the big prize as favorite network comedy at the People's Choice Awards last night, one of its stars gets a nod from us for being a gal who likes to play around with computers. Heather Morris was on the Late Show With David Letterman earlier this week, and shared that she likes to mess around on her MacBook, making her own short video clips.

As someone who also likes to teach herself how to master computer programs and gadgets, I salute you, Heather. Check out her endearing video (she sounds like she's hilarious in real life) below.

Now that the iPad 2 is coming with more power, you're able to take advantage of advanced apps.

Now that the iPad 2 is coming with more power, you're able to take advantage of advanced apps. Announced today, both GarageBand and iMovie will be available for the iPad and will come with all the features you know and love from the desktop software, including some updates like smart instruments, which are like musical training wheels to help you compose a song.

Both of these apps will hit the iTunes store on March 11 for $4.99.

New features include new full screen modes, Facebook enhancements, new slideshows, and new ways to email photos and print cards, including new custom letterpress cards (!) and postcards. Cool new maps let you see geo-tagged pics, and enhancements to the Faces feature recognizes faces even better. Additionally, you can customize books even further, add text, and move pics around with ease, then see all of your custom books in a bookshelf (just like in the iBookstore).

New iMovie iPhone 4 App Details Uncovered

During last week's WWDC keynote, we were briefly introduced to the new iMovie app for the iPhone.

During last week's WWDC keynote, we were briefly introduced to the new iMovie app for the iPhone. Not many features were described during the presentation — other than a swift demo of what the app is capable of — but it got me excited for what's to come.

A few new details have emerged about the $5 app, most notably that iMovie will be available only on the iPhone 4, excluding the 3GS from the film making fun. Find out what else is up with the new app after the break.

This week, we're moving into the wedding planning stages, and today I'm talking about slideshows. But this isn't the after-the-event, it-was-such-a-beautiful-day slideshow, this is the slideshow you play during your reception, usually packed with photos of you and your betrothed throughout your relationship together.

Although I've already given you some tips on what you should consider when putting together your slideshows, you may not know where to begin once you have all your photos chosen. If you don't have a Mac (I know I've talked your ear off about the simple joy of iPhoto), you can still make professional-looking slideshows and videos with your PC. Who woulda thought, right?
