i-D Magazine Celebrates 20 Years of Kate Moss Covers With More Kate Moss Covers

Is anyone having a better year than Kate Moss?

Is anyone having a better year than Kate Moss? Just a few days into the second month of 2013 comes the news that the supermodel will grace four covers of i-D Magazine's Alphabetical issue, celebrating 20 years of working with the title.

With this issue, Moss adds four portraits taken by Daniele Duella and Iango Henzi to her vast portfolio of covers. She first appeared in i-D in 1993 and now has been on the cover of the magazine 13 times. But no one could have foretold that during her first cover shoot. Moss, then just 19 years old, wore an oversize sweatshirt, unbrushed hair, and not a trace of makeup. "Little did we know that this impish imperfect beauty would end up an international superstar and on more i-D covers than any other," said the magazine's founder, Terry Jones.

And despite her long and prolific career, Moss shows no signs of slowing down. She recently celebrated her 39th birthday, the publication of a book of her work, and is currently being filmed for a documentary about her life. We wonder if this cover shoot will end up in the film?

Lara Stone's New Pregnancy Photo Has Love Written All Over It

Lara Stone hasn't said much about her pregnancy since November, when her husband David Walliams announced they were having their first child.

Lara Stone hasn't said much about her pregnancy since November, when her husband David Walliams announced they were having their first child. But in this just revealed photo, Stone looks great pregnant and in "love."

The image, originally taken for an i-D Magazine piece about yoga teacher Nadia Airan, features Stone wearing one of Airan's tank tops emblazoned with the word "Love." The model is glowing, and the tank's knit fabric shows off her growing stomach. There's no word yet on Stone's due date, but judging by the pic below, pregnancy definitely seems to agree with her.

Everyone needs someone to look up to, so for the role-models-themed Fall 2012 issue of i-D Magazine, Daniele Duella and Iango Henzi photographed a litany of the industry's boldface names for a series of beautiful covers.

Gisele Bundchen is captured in black and white, surrounded by wavy tendrils of her own hair. Isabeli Fontana, made up like a classic '40s femme fatale, makes a neck brace look like the chicest, easiest-to-wear accessory there is, and Karen Elson's fiery hair is pushed into an extremely experimental shape.

For its Pre-Fall 2012 covers, i-D Magazine asked Terry Richardson to photograph a group including Cara Delevingne, Kelly Mittendorf, and Charlotte Free. The issue is billed as a "celebration of what it means to be young today," and editors at i-D selected these three to represent the young people who will shape the future of the world. But the magazine notes that youth isn't an age — it's a state of mind. "Feeling youthful is finding joy and pleasure in everything you do, whatever your age," its editors write. Let's see who'll join the youthful models on the magazine's additional covers. For now, a glimpse at these bright young things in the gallery.
