Geek Out: Share Your Favorite Desk Accessories

I define desk accessories as things you don't really need, but you want.

I define desk accessories as things you don't really need, but you want. From novelty speakers, USB-powered beverage heaters and coolers and lamps that charge gadgets to goofy Kung Fu tape dispensers - there seems to be no end to the genre.

I don't need the iCat speaker from Firebox, but that doesn't stop me from drooling over it. I mean, it plugs into your MP3 player, plays music, moves its tail and lights up. What more desk entertainment can a girl ask for?

Get Your Gadgets Organized With The Butler Bag

As much as I try to keep my work bag and purses organized, I find that I'm always digging around in a giant black hole searching for my cell phone, keys, iPod, lip gloss and wallet.

As much as I try to keep my work bag and purses organized, I find that I'm always digging around in a giant black hole searching for my cell phone, keys, iPod, lip gloss and wallet. When I first saw this Butler Bag on Popgadget, I knew that this was a bag that I could get a lot of use out of. I also couldn't help but think that a bag filled with so many compartments would probably be bulky and awkward to carry. Designed by Jen Groover, the leather Butler Bag is surprisingly small on the exterior, considering all the space on the inside. And if you click on the pictures below, you'll realize that it's also quite stylish - very chic for such a gadget friendly bag! The classic bag costs $95 and the hybrid bag (with more compartments) costs $150. Both are available in a variety of colors.

Geek Out: Help Me Find A Camera Case!

PartySugar and I have been bad.

PartySugar and I have been bad. Real bad. We both received beautiful Canon PowerShot cameras as gifts recently and have been protecting them by carrying them in less than chic - and 100 percent ineffective cases - in fact, her camera's screen suffered a giant scratch last week while in her purse.

I've pounded the pavement recently looking for colorful, chic and petite cases that will fit in our purses and, of course protect our cameras from future scratches, but haven't found the right case. So, let's all go check out geek gear across the web and see if we can find a nice case with a small cord and a secure closure method like this Marc Jacobs case. Neither one of use wants to spend $195, but can you help us find a small, colorful, chic camera case for less than $70? Please tag your finds with "get camera case" then check back to geeksugar next week so see if I featured your Geek Gear!
