I've always wanted a Cribs-style game room for the excuse to collect vintage arcade and pinball games, but where I live, space is limited and a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arcade console doesn't really match the furniture. The arcade table from Surface Tension doubles as a normal-looking coffee table with a modern flair.

Included on display in the machine are the classic characters Optimus Prime, Megatron, Autobot, and Decepticon. Franchise purists may be happy to see that the CG effects of the recent Transformers films are absent. Pricing starts at $5,700 and goes up to $7,500; save your pinball quarters or cash in a rare Transformers action figure to make this machine a part of your home.

Since we seem to be taking it back to the old school this week, I might as well toss in another favorite of mine besides all the mixed tapes and pagers and boomboxes — arcade games. You remember those, yeah?

If I wasn't spending hours in my towns' arcade (and dropping what seemed like hundreds in quarters) every week, then I was either deathly ill or my parents had dragged me along on a family vacation. Seriously, there was no stopping me.
