Thanks to TeamSugar user bubbaincal for bookmarking this funky pink Vituri camera satchel. At first glance, you may think this satchel is a handbag, but if you look inside you'll realize that it is fully lined for camera protection. There is also an adjustable velcro padded compartment and mesh pockets for memory cards etc. If your camera is fairly small, you can also use this satchel as a wallet or purse as it has credit card slots, pen loops and a detachable key snap. I'd definitely spend $35 on this Vituri satchel, would you?
You readers found some great camera cases for PartySugar and myself last week, but if you didn't immediately order one of the Neiman Marcus Snapshot cases or of the Panda Digital Camera Case, you might consider making your own simple case until you find one you want to buy...or as a substitute for buying one.
Craftzine sparked my attention by sharing a great tutorial to make a simple fabric snap close camera case that can be modeled to any camera and would make a great Mother's Day gift for mom. Check out the full tutorial here.
Last week I admitted that PartySugar and I each received amazing Canon PowerShot cameras as gifts recently and have been protecting them by carrying them in less than chic - and 100 percent ineffective cases. I asked you readers to help us each find a small, colorful, chic camera case for less than $70 and boy did you guys deliver. The finds were amazing, and opened my eyes to all the great designers out there.
It was hard to choose my favorites, but PrissyLilBadAss and wrtrgrl each found these delightful Neiman Marcus Snapshot cases - they range in price from $50 to $55, and fit our criteria perfectly. The cases come in cocoa perforated Ultrasuede with turquoise leather trim, cranberry floral-embossed nubuck, or emerald floral-embossed leather. They have a detachable wristlet (one of my most needed features) and best of all, look like a sturdy yet elegant way to wrap up our favorite device.

Kristen of Plush You recently got a chance to interview star crafter Blythe Church who makes fun looking plush objects and it donned on me that this would make the ideal camera cover. As you all know, PartySugar and I have each been looking for sleek camera cases for our Canon PowerShot cameras and while I don't have the time to create my own case, I can think of nothing more adorable than a plush case that matches the camera's style.
PartySugar and I have been bad. Real bad. We both received beautiful Canon PowerShot cameras as gifts recently and have been protecting them by carrying them in less than chic - and 100 percent ineffective cases - in fact, her camera's screen suffered a giant scratch last week while in her purse.
I've pounded the pavement recently looking for colorful, chic and petite cases that will fit in our purses and, of course protect our cameras from future scratches, but haven't found the right case. So, let's all go check out geek gear across the web and see if we can find a nice case with a small cord and a secure closure method like this Marc Jacobs case. Neither one of use wants to spend $195, but can you help us find a small, colorful, chic camera case for less than $70? Please tag your finds with "get camera case" then check back to geeksugar next week so see if I featured your Geek Gear!

Thanks to Shiny Shiny for spotting this luxurious Marc Jacobs digital camera case, which is quite frankly a combination of my favorite things Marc and my camera.
Each case has a wrist strap and flap closure with the gold Marc Jacobs signature buckle. Want to make sure your camera will fit? Each case measures 3"x5"x1.75". Also available in linen for $195 from Barneys.
I'm always on the search for fun, new, and hip gadget cases so when I came across these stylin' bags from Golla Finland I couldn't help but oohh and ahhh! Golla has created colorful cases made from innovative materials for your laptop, camera, iPod, nano and anything else techie. Check out all the different styles on the Golla website. Now all I need is a case with matching tube top and I'm all set for summer! If you are having difficulty purchasing from the website, check out Planet Wireless where there is an assortment of styles and colors.
Finally, a chic solution to all those camera accessories and cords - a luxurious butter leather Marc by Marc Jacobs Softy Camera Bag. This camera bag features a top zip closure, a drop single shoulder strap and is loaded with exterior pockets. With a price tag of $248, you can get all the goodness of Marc, without the big ticket price tag, and you'll be the most fashionable photographer anyway. I'd probably use it as a purse as well, but I love that designers are starting to make accessories for gadget-lovers.
