Cassette-Tape Watch: Totally Geeky or Geek Chic?
I think this Mixtape Watch by EOS NY ($135) is amazing! It's designed to look like a cassette tape, and as time passes, the "tape" actually passes from one side of the watch to the other. If you look closely, you can see the watch's face on the right side of the tape.
What do you think?
Icon Pixel Watch: Totally Geeky or Geek Chic?
I'm a sucker for pixels, so of course I was drawn to this Icon Watch ($77) from &design. Sure, it's a little clunky to be worn on a tiny wrist, but if you're a loud and proud geek, you could totally pull it off. How awesome would it be paired with the Matthew Williamson pixel scarf?
The watch comes in a dark gray tone and a light off-white, so it could really be suited for you or your guy. Impress your mate with one for Father's Day, then wear it while out with your gals when he's not looking. I won't tell.
Calculator Watch: Totally Geeky or Geek Chic ?
This Calculator Watch (on sale for $70!) is a replica of a retro Casio. It comes in three colors — blue, black, and white — and features a calculator, four alarms (one with snooze!), a stopwatch, and a calendar . . . not to mention it tells time.
I love its retro look — especially since there are so many geeky watches out there. What do you think, would you sport this style?

Solar-Powered and Waterproof: The Summer-Ready Tocs Watch
Finding products that are waterproof? Easy. Finding products that are solar-powered? Not so easy. Finding products that are both waterproof and solar-powered? Practically impossible!
If you live by the beach throughout the Summer (a pool works too!), then may I suggest checking out this Tocs Ani-Digi Solar Chronograph Watch? It stays juiced up from the sun (with a lithium battery for backup) and is water resistant up to three meters deep.
Now I know it doesn't scream cute, feminine watch (I'm hoping it's unisex), but it does come in orange or black as well. And best of all, it's only $50.
Telephone Cord Watch: Totally Geeky or Geek Chic?
Ring-a-ding-ding, this Telephone Cord Watch is calling your name! Or is it? I'm all about vintage tech (obviously), but I'm not sure I could wrap this watch around my wrist. Why? Well, it's not exactly cheap (comes in at $65 bucks), so it's too expensive to buy as a novelty item, and really, I'm more about the sexy old-school phone items than the wacky. But I do have to admit, the number button below the face is a great touch. A great touch indeed. What do you think?
