Recently featured in Sex and the City 2, this compact computer is fun, fabulous, totally functional, and will probably fit in all those tiny tote bags you have shoved in your closet!

HP announced their partnership and costarring role in Sex and the City 2 his morning, and now this latest photo from the film reveals Samantha feverishly packing (or unpacking?) with her ultra-stylish Vivienne Tam Butterfly Lovers HP Mini in tow. It's no surprise that the designer digital clutch is making a cameo in the fashion-forward film, since all of the Sex gals love their labels. I wonder if Samantha has the Monster earphones to match?

It's obvious I'm a fan of Project Runway, so it should come as no surprise that I jumped at the chance to mingle with the contestants of the show and chat about their new-found love for technology during a NYC meet-and-greet sponsored by HP. Along for the ride? The one and only Vivienne Tam, whose work with HP has produced two stunning examples of how fashionable technology can really be.

I got some face-to-face time with the designer and spoke with her about how technology inspires her work, and if she'll be continuing her relationship with HP (spoiler: she is!). Check out my interview below!

• On how technology affects her designs: I can’t live without technology every day. I use computers every day to generate my prints. I take pictures, I scan something that I love and blur it on the computer to make my prints.

We first saw the second-edition Vivienne Tam HP Mini netbook on the runway last year at Fashion Week, but you'll finally be able to pick one up for yourself this month! The limited edition Butterfly Lovers HP Mini 210 is ready for pre-orders starting today and will be flying onto shelves beginning Mar. 19 with a $600 price tag.
