On last night's Late Show With David Letterman, President Barack Obama got candid about his relationship with wife Michelle and told a funny story about their first anniversary. The president gushed to Letterman about "wonderful" Michelle, joking that the Democratic National Convention was more about her than him, saying, "As usual, people always realize how much better Michelle is than me." He added that what really makes the first wife special is how genuine she is, noting that she doesn't act differently around different people. Neither Barack nor Michelle are likely to forget their 20th anniversary on Oct. 3, but one of them did forget their very first anniversary! Watch the clip now to find out who it was!

On Katie Couric's new talk show, Katie, yesterday, E.L. James shared some more details on how her best seller Fifty Shades of Grey was inspired by Twilight. E.L. explained that it all started with her love of the first Twilight movie. Then after reading the books — that she couldn't couldn't put down — a "switch was flipped" and she had to write. Her fan fiction about Bella and Edward eventually evolved into the erotic story of Christian and Ana that made her famous. "So you heard that," Anderson Cooper said to guest cohost Kristin Chenoweth when she brought up Anderson's recent coming out. On the premiere of his show Anderson Live, the now openly gay journalist was in good spirits, if not a tiny bit bashful, when Kristin mentioned his sexuality. He told Kristin, "I came out in high school. I told my friends. I told my family. I've always been out to my co-workers." Anderson said he didn't believe it was appropriate to talk about his personal life in public as a reporter. Yet, he came to change his mind and explained why he decided this year to come out publicly. Watch him explain now.

We recently interviewed the stars Lauren Miller and Ari Graynor, and now we're sharing our chat with director Jamie Travis and cowriter Katie Anne Naylon, who wrote the screenplay with her former roommate Lauren. The film's story may sound too crazy to be true, but it's actually based on Katie's real-life experience running a phone sex line from her dorm room in college! Katie dished on why she had to Google things like S&M, the effect her surprising sexual history had on running a phone sex business, and a disturbing roommate story involving a condom. Known for his short films, this is Jamie's first time directing a full-length feature film, and he talked to us about why his love of women drew him to the story.
