Here we go, folks: AT&T has confirmed that they will be capping DSL and U-Verse high speed Internet services for its customers beginning on May 2.

You should see a notice explaining the changes arrive in your mailbox starting this week, but here's the details now: caps will begin at 150GB per month for DSL customers and 250GB for U-Verse subscribers, adding a $10 fee for every 50GB over. The good news is that AT&T will allow customers two grace periods before imposing the overage fees (meaning two months will be warnings, and you'll be charged beginning on the third month), so you'll be able to adjust your usage accordingly.

Find out why AT&T decided to instate the caps after the break.

U-Verse (Finally) Coming to the Xbox 360

2007's CES brought the news that AT&T's U-Verse service would be coming to the Xbox 360, and according to a new report, that dream is finally becoming reality next month.

Three years after its initial announcement from former Microsoft CEO Bill Gates, AT&T will be allowing Xbox 360 owners to access U-Verse programming from a dashboard app on their consoles, essentially turning their Xbox into a U-Verse set-top box that streams programming over your broadband Internet connection. Other than eliminating one extra set-top box from your home theater, that's really all it does. Handy? Yes. Essential? Probably not. But there are a few catches if you want to get in on the deal. Find out what they are after the break.

Download Shows With AT&T's New U-Verse Mobile App

Hot on the heels of Dish Network's free streaming via mobile devices announcement, AT&T has stepped up their game to offer a few new features to its U-Verse customers as well.

Hot on the heels of Dish Network's free streaming via mobile devices announcement, AT&T has stepped up their game to offer a few new features to its U-Verse customers as well. Although you can't stream live TV through the newly-updated U-Verse Mobile iPhone App (Free), you can manage your DVR recordings, browse current listings, and now download selected shows via WiFi to watch from anywhere at no extra charge.

Watch shows like Castle (one of my faves!), Cougar Town, Desperate Housewives, and more, straight from your iPhone for free, anywhere there's an available WiFi connection (these days, that's not so hard to find). There is one caveat though. Find out what it is after the jump.
