Laptop Case Plus Pillow Equals the Naptop

My favorite find at this year's Macworld: the Naptop, a new kind of laptop sleeve from Trexta.

My favorite find at this year's Macworld: the Naptop, a new kind of laptop sleeve from Trexta. The Naptop, which will hit stores sometime before Spring, is part laptop case and part pillow, perfect for flights or other long trips.

Your 13-inch laptop fits snugly between two padded sides of the case, so it's secure while you nap. A strap on the back of the case secures the Naptop (which functions well as a pillow without your laptop inside) to a car, train, or airplane seat's headrest. The Naptop will be available sometime in the next month or so in black and pink, both with funny and adorable sheep detailing.

While the Naptop isn't the most space-efficient way to carry your laptop while traveling, if you're planning on toting a pillow for your journey, it's an excellent and adorable two-in-one option.

Macworld 2010: More Stylish Cases From Trexta

It's opening day of the Macworld Expo and right off the bat I found something I loved: this iPhone case from Trexta, which was coincidentally one of last year's favorite brands.

It's opening day of the Macworld Expo and right off the bat I found something I loved: this iPhone case from Trexta, which was coincidentally one of last year's favorite brands. The cases are made from recycled paper and plastic, and allow you to draw your own design right onto the case. The covers are sold in packs of five.

Other favorite items included a white leather wallet/iPhone case, a BlackBerry case disguised as a small clutch, and furry, animal print cases. There's no pricing info yet, but don't worry, I'll be on the lookout for these cases to hit stores.

A Good Pair: Trexta Air Sleeves and the Latico Vertical Tote

If I'm in the market for a new bag, I tend to want to pair it with a new laptop sleeve.

If I'm in the market for a new bag, I tend to want to pair it with a new laptop sleeve. This is because realistically, it's only a matter of time before my bag (no matter if it's a laptop bag or not) becomes a transportation device for my trusty computer. So when I saw (and salivated over) the Vertical Tote ($155) on Flight 001, I immediately went on the hunt for a laptop sleeve that would match the adorable flower print on the inside lining. Lo and behold, the sexy Trexta sleeves I was raving about at Macworld were just what I was looking for.

Trexta iPhone and Laptop Accessories Sex Up Macworld

My Macworld adventure continues!

My Macworld adventure continues! When I wasn't looking at hardware, I had my eyes peeled for new, stylish accessories. My favorite booth at Macworld was Trexta, a company specializing in sleek, sexy leather pieces for iPhones, iPods, and laptops.

Most of the leather accessories I end up with are ordered online, so I never get to see them and more importantly, feel, the grain and tell if it's a quality product. I've been disappointed more than once, but Trexta's stuff — in soft, buttery leather and patent leather (which I rarely see in peripheral accessories) would not let me down.

Trexta's booth reps didn't have pricing info yet, but don't worry — I'm on the lookout for these when they become available.
