Each is a replica of the well-known Nintendo and Super Nintendo controller and plugs into any computer via USB for playing games. I was a huge SNES-junkie as a kid (Mario Kart, what?), so even looking at a photo of the controllers puts my nostalgia in overdrive — and I'm not even a computer game junkie. The only thing that could make these better is if I could use them to control movies or music volume!
Don't celebrate with a Douglas Fir? I've already thought of several different ways to incorporate these into my everyday life after the holidays. Window ornaments, wall art, even sealed into the top of a DIY outdoor table. See? I bet you can come up with a few on your own.
Who knew that cutie patootie Paul Rudd's early career featured a painfully geeky gamer ad! This Super Nintendo advertisement from the early '90's was used to promote the popular entertainment system and old-school games like Zelda and Football. In this "action-packed" commercial, you see Rudd getting his game on in front of a JumboTron-like screen. Maybe not as entertaining as his role in Knocked Up, but priceless nonetheless!
