Gear Review: slotRadio by Sansa

I love my iPod, but there is a new music player vying for my heart: the slotRadio ($79) by Sansa.

I love my iPod, but there is a new music player vying for my heart: the slotRadio ($79) by Sansa.

The two-inch-by-two-inch clip-on music player comes with a data card with 1,000 songs from the Billboard music charts, with prearranged playlists by music genre. I tried the additional Health and Fitness mix, which includes the mixes for warmup, cardio, roadwork (cycling), power (lifting), yoga, cooldown, and the even more mellow spa mix.

SanDisk Sansa Fuze Is Red and Totally Real

SanDisk's new Fuze is red hot, comes with 4GB of storage, and only costs $100 (a 4GB iPod nano costs $150).

SanDisk's new Fuze is red hot, comes with 4GB of storage, and only costs $100 (a 4GB iPod nano costs $150). CrunchGear found this beauty on Amazon, although I think it has gone MIA cause I can't seem to find it anymore, but stay tuned for more details!

Here's what makes this mp3 player so mighty and definitely worth the $100: It features a 1.9-inch screen, a microSD/SDHC slot, digital FM radio, and 24-hours of battery life for audio and 5-hours for video playback. More colors are said to be coming as well. Expect to see this red hot player in stores in one to three months!

SanDisk's Sansa Turns Pink And Red

I used to think it was just me, but I've learned this much to be true: Ladies love pink gadgets.

I used to think it was just me, but I've learned this much to be true: Ladies love pink gadgets.

I don't know if it makes us feel like they were designed with a woman in mind, or if naturally we are just drawn to all things pink, but somehow, the color change from basic black to watermelon, rose and bubble gum can be enough to attract some women into making a purchase.

Case in point, this Sansa C250 digital audio player which now comes in pink and red. Was I in love with it before the color change? No. Now....I'm warming up.

It features an FM tuner and photo viewer on top of the regular MP3 player stats. It also allows voice and FM recording, as well as 20 presets on the radio. While it sounds a great deal like the Insignia MP3 player with Bluetooth, its $99 price tag can't be beat. Granted it's no video iPod, but it is only $20 more than a shuffle.

Make Your iPod or Sansa Sparkle With A Disko Case

You know how your iPod or Sansa makes you feel like dancing when it plays your favorite tunes?

You know how your iPod or Sansa makes you feel like dancing when it plays your favorite tunes? Well, now your MP3 player can do a little dancing of its own with a disko polycarbonate case that lights up with multiple light colors and motion-activated lighting sequences.

The shell protects your player while a ring of colored LEDs around the click wheel lights up, swirls, flashes and chases in a variety of fun patterns, triggered by movement. It's Madonna-meets-Donna Summer-meets-iPod fabulous.
