This Rubik's Cube Handbag ($20) could be something that Carrie Bradshaw would have toted around if she were more of a geek. Good news is this bag's price is oh-so-right and is definitely a statement piece for your next outing with your nerdy gal pals. People will notice. But what do you think — do you love it or would you rather leave it?
The large pendant is fastened to a long, silver chain (long enough, actually, for you to play with the puzzle cube while you're wearing it). And wearing it will make you look like a total smarty pants —the pendant arrives solved, so no one has to know that you didn't figure it out yourself! What do you think?
I thought I had seen the pièce de réstistance in Rubik's Cube products when I found that vintage Rubik's Cube Perpetual Calendar the other day, but now I don't know, because check this out: the Rubik's Cruet Salt and Pepper Shaker Set!
$20 for each shaker, the salt has a solid white block top, while the pepper has a red block top.
Unlike the calendar, you don't have to solve the cube to figure out how to get your seasonings out. And although I would appreciate the challenge if it did, I can get pretty irate when I'm hungry, so not having to solve a puzzle is a probably a good thing for me.
Perhaps it's the vintage looks and rendering in black and white rather than multicolor, but it looks cool, rather than kid-like.
Sure, you might waste a little time (the same time you are trying to tell) setting up the clock for each day, but if you like this calendar, you're probably not a Cube noob.
