Rumble Wheels For the Wii Are Now Available to Purchase

I'll admit it. Sometimes I feel silly when I'm playing Mario Kart on the Wii because I'm turning corners like a madwoman with this tiny plastic Wii wheel.

I'll admit it. Sometimes I feel silly when I'm playing Mario Kart on the Wii because I'm turning corners like a madwoman with this tiny plastic Wii wheel. Move aside Danica Patrick because now I'm really going to get my race-on with these rumble wheels for the Wii ($20) which just became available on Amazon today.

Unlike the standard plastic wheel, the rumble wheel is made with safe material and makes you feel like you're driving a real race car. Color options include pink, blue, white, and black. Probably best to get more than one if you play with a partner — don't think they'd want to get stuck with the plastic one when you're looking all pro.

Geek Of The Week: Richard Rubin

Watching a few two many episodes of the new Beauty of the Geek season this weekend reminded me of my all time favorite geek, Richard Rubin.

Watching a few two many episodes of the new Beauty of the Geek season this weekend reminded me of my all time favorite geek, Richard Rubin. Last season on the show the fumbling geek admitted he had never kissed a girl and showed that even when you've make it on a primetime show, you're not always guaranteed a stylist.

While the show is so contrived it's painful, I still get a kick out of its hilarious sound bites, starting with Rubin's revelation "I was once accosted by a Hungarian stripper. She had a purple shawl and we were there. I started talking about the 1956 Hungarian uprising. The only uprising was in my pants." Yikes!
