We already know that Beyonce thinks Nintendo's new Rhythm Heaven game for the Nintendo DS and DSi is very relaxing, and after watching her play the game with her nephew, I think it's safe to say she thinks it's a lot of fun too. Well, the final cut of the Rhythm Heaven commercial featuring Beyonce herself has arrived, so be sure to check it out below. And a status update on my Rhythm Heaven progress? I've only got a few more games to unlock but am still completely addicted! The remixes at the end of each level are amazing (love the brighter colors and faster music) and how much fun is the Moai Doo Wop mini-game?! It definitely deserved its four out of five star rating.
Must Haves For April
Happy April Fools' Day! April is definitely a month that's bursting with exciting and new games, gadgets and accessories. One of the hottest new cell phones, cameras, and video games is featured in this month's lineup of Must Haves. So if you're looking for something to add to your tech toy collection, you've come to the right place.
First Impressions of Rhythm Heaven For the Nintendo DS
We already know how much Beyonce and her nephew Julez love Rhythm Heaven for the DS, but I was curious to check it out myself to see what all the hype is about. Coinciding with the release of the new Nintendo DSi on April 5, Rhythm Heaven (which can be played on both the DS and DSi) is all about rhythm and music. Basically take the musical components of games like Guitar Hero and Rock Band, and the skill testing challenges of Brain Age, and you've got Rhythm Heaven.

What's different though is the competitive nature, where you have to conquer each rhythm-based minigame before advancing to the next level (you will receive a medal which unlocks various things). And to be honest, the avid gamer that I am, I didn't breeze through the levels as expected. It actually requires a lot of concentration as you are forced to pay close attention to the beats in the songs. Needless to say, I was instantly hooked and addicted. The songs are upbeat, the characters are adorable, and each level provides a new experience. With a game that forces you to flick, tap, slide, and kick to various beats, you'll find that Rhythm Heaven is not only challenging, but entertaining as well.
Rhythm Heaven will cost $26 when it goes on sale on April 5.
Watch Beyonce Play Rhythm Heaven on the DSi
Promoting the new Nintendo DSi game Rhythm Heaven (available April 5), Beyonce Knowles has already said she is quite the gamer girl who especially loves Wii games. Although we have yet to see the official commercial featuring the singer and her adorable nephew Julez playing Rhythm Heaven, we got a sneak peek with some behind-the-scenes footage that you can check out below!

Beyonce Unleashes Her Inner Gamer For New DSi Commercial
Beyonce is already a well-known singer, dancer, and actress, but can we add gamer to the list? Well, since she has just been tapped to star in a Nintendo DSi commercial for the latest game to hit the console, Rhythm Heaven (which is due to hit shelves April 5), I would say the answer is yes! Not only is the game totally appropriate for the music queen, but according to an interview in Entertainment Weekly, she's an avid gamer even when away from the cameras:
On why she loves playing Rhythm Heaven: I have been having a great time. I've been rehearsing for my [upcoming] tour in stilettos and uncomfortable corsets, learning all these arrangements. Today I was playing the game with my socks on, on the couch, and it was very relaxing!
