We got a sneak peek inside Pottermore last month, and now that beta testers have been invited inside the platform, more images are making their way to the masses along with some insight on what Pottermore can do.

Pottermore will allow you to gather with groups of friends inside a virtual Hogwarts (even placing you in one of the four Hogwarts houses), and follow along with the books in an interactive environment that supplies you with more information about each character, chapter, and story. There are also fun games and scavenger hunts to complete and open new areas of Pottermore. Want to see more? Click through the slideshow for more images!

The final Harry Potter film opens this week, and while fans everywhere are getting ready to bid the series farewell in theaters, author J.K. Rowling is hoping Potter supporters will get excited for the next adventure coming their way: Pottermore.

The site, which was announced last month, will be a social hub of all things Potter, where fans can interact with each other, learn more about the world of Harry (thanks to new details to be revealed by the author herself), and a place to purchase ebooks, audiobooks, and more. The Pottermore Twitter account has been releasing sneak peek images of the site over the past few weeks, so take a look at what's in store here!

Will Pottermore Be an Online Game?

Harry Potter fans have been whipped into a frenzy over the past several days as they searched for clues to find out what exactly J.K. Rowling's next project is. The author launched a scavenger hunt last week, which led fans to a site called Pottermore. While the exact nature of the site hasn't been revealed just yet (J.K. Rowling is expected to reveal what Pottermore is during a press conference tomorrow), naturally there has been a lot of speculation surrounding the site. Everything from a spin-off series to a Harry Potter encyclopedia has been suggested, but new evidence shows that Pottermore may actually be an online game.

A "leaked" document accidentally sent to The Times says that Pottermore is a "sophisticated online game that contains clues to prizes that are hidden in the real world." The fact that J.K. Rowling's fans were sent on a scavenger hunt to find clues about Pottermore leads me to believe that these rumors are true, but we don't have to wait much longer to find out for sure! What do you think Pottermore is?
