Labels and love, that's what it's all about. Well, according to Fergie, anyway. If you've got a fashion hound in your midst (or have willingly become a slave to your favorite designer), have no fear — you can still geek out with your gadgets and look good doing it.
I walked into my local Walgreens yesterday and found an entire aisle dressed in pink, red, and overflowing with Valentine's Day candy. Now, beings as it was January 4, I was a little taken aback by how quickly the store changed from "Happy Holidays" to "I love you," but I shouldn't complain — I'm a total sucker for heart-shaped Cadbury Cream Eggs!
And although the Palm Pixi was just released this past November after making its debut at Fashion Week, Palm wants us ladies to fall in love with its tiny smartphone all over again: the company is preparing to launch a pink line of Pixis just in time for Valentine's Day. A leaked Sprint inventory screen shot reveals a pink hued Pixi in the mix, and the new handset will most likely be announced at CES on Thursday. So tell me — are you excited for a pink Pixi?
There are so many amazing features included in the Palm Pixi, it may be impossible to pick just one! You can browse real websites and not just the mobile version while texting at the same time! Earlier this week, we got the ball rolling on our fun best of polls when I asked you: What is your favorite social networking site of 2009? Well now I'm turning the attention to another popular topic of '09 — cell phones! Last year seemed to be all about the iPhone 3G, but this year, we not only got our hands on a new iPhone 3GS, but some pretty fancy BlackBerrys, Android handsets, and impressive smartphones from Palm. There was certainly a lot of pretty new smartphones to choose from, but which one did you like the best?
Palm's Pixi, just landed in stores across the country, and it's already dropped to $25 on Amazon. That's right, if you sign up for a new two-year contract plan from Sprint, you can save quite a bit of money off the original price tag. I know most of you weren't over excited about the Pixi, but for $25, I can't help but recognize this impressive deal.
And not only that, but you can also head on over to Amazon and get the Palm Pre for $80 — again, with a new service plan from Sprint.
Both phones include a free activation deal that is good until Nov. 23.

This past week was a busy one with cell phone chatter, as we learned about three new phones that will be making their way to store shelves very soon. For instance, the new and improved BlackBerry Storm2 has just gone on sale in Verizon stores across the US and will cost $180 on a two-year contract after a $100 mail-in rebate. Meanwhile, the fashionable Palm Pixi, which costs $99, will be coming to Sprint stores on Nov. 15. And last but not least, the beautiful BlackBerry Bold 9700, which doesn't have a release date just yet, but is rumored to be hitting T-Mobile and AT&T networks this November. With all this talk about smartphones, I'm interested in knowing whether or not one of these handsets has made it to your wish list or if there's one in particular you can't wait to see in person? If so, which one?
