We first heard about the electric DeLorean back in October, but it made its first appearance at the New York International Auto Show this week, and it was accompanied by a price tag. The DMCev is priced at $95,000 and is expected to hit the streets in 2013.

You can charge the DMCev with a standard household 110v outlet, taking about three to four hours to fully charge, which equals out to about $2.25 to fill the electron tank. Talk about saving some dough! What's more, you can supplement the electric motor with solar or wind power for an even more energy-efficient ride.
