Touché: MSI Rolling Out a $500 Android Tablet in 2010

Although most people were anxiously awaiting to see what Apple was packing under the hood of their tablet on Wednesday, MSI was waiting for a price tag. Coming hot on the heels of Apple's big unveiling, MSI revealed that their 10-inch tablet — which they were showing off at this years' CES — will hit shelves in the second half of 2010 for $500, which is equal to that of the iPad's entry-level 16GB WiFi model. The tablet will run on an Android operating system and a speedy Tegra A9 processor, but the rest of the specs are being kept under-wraps until closer to launch date. I'm excited about this, particularly for the Android OS, but hoping that it comes with a bit more bells and whistles than came stocked on the iPad. I spy a camera already!
