Man alive, did I have to see these spankin' new laptop sleeves by Goyard in this month's Vogue right when I am at my most vulnerable — post-Christmas, when all I want to do is shop?
But at $830 each, they're more expensive than many laptops on the market, but I'm still sighing big. Goyard is my fantasy/someday bag maker, and now they've also got my fantasy/someday laptop bag.
Where would we be without a little fantasy? They're the anti-necessity, but I love to look at luxurious accessories, whether I could ever afford them or not.

The good looks of YSL's Downtown Computer Case beat the competition with 28 percent. It still hasn't come down from its $1,800 price point, so it'll remain an image on a screen for me. A very sexy image on a screen.

This is the year where it's been kind of bad to be the priciest, most luxurious gadget accessory, but just because we can't order anything, doesn't mean we can't peruse the menu!
My fave untouchable luxury accessories were either cast in leather, like Mulberry's and YSL's laptop bags, real gold, like Tiffany's Camera Bracelet and the Solid Gold Flash Drive, or gold lookalike — as in LaCie's Golden Disk Drive and Gold Python BlackBerry Purse.

I finally invested in the Clarisonic device that Bella has been raving about and rushed home to try it, only to find the instructions suggest charging the device for 24 hours before its first use. It was the ultimate luxury gadget letdown — all I wanted to do was test it, and I had to wait patiently.
Most battery experts claim you can prolong battery life by charging them fully before their inaugural use. It makes sense, but it's not always feasible (or fun!) to wait. Do you fully charge your gadgets before your first use?

Set to make their debut this Friday, and retailing for $350 (I know, totally pricey, but hear me out before you get turned off), the Beats headphones are like what a Bentley is to cars — luxurious, high quality, and worth every penny.
Dr. Dre has teamed up with Monster to create headphones that offer deep bass, clarity and a high definition listening experience. With isolation technology, plush breathable cushions for your ears, and an included Monster iSoniTalk cable with a built-in answer button and mic for the iPhone, as I said, worth the dough-re-mi.
