Twitter can haz a new language option, and it's available right meow. On Fridai — er, Friday — the Twitterz announced (via tweet, of course) that users now have the option to view their Twitter feeds in the language of LOLcat.

The new "languuj" is available through Twitter settings > Account. Select "LOLCATZ (beta)" as the language, and hit save changes. Only you will be able to see your Twitter page's lolspeak — the setting does not automatically translate your tweets.

After changing your language settings, Twitter will be referred to as "TWITTR," location will become "LOCASHUN," and "KTHXBYE!" will be appended to links randomly throughout the site.

To the disappointment of grammar and spelling traditionalists around the world, the LOLcats meme quickly spread through the website I Can Has Cheezburger in the late-2000s and established felines as the rulers of the Internet animal kingdom.

Switch up your language settings, and let us know how long you can go in the new capitalized, misspelled cat version of Twitter — KTHXBYE!
