Make Spring stick this year with laptop decals that offer a refreshing touch. Bright colors and whimsical patterns are just a few of the ways to liven up your tech after those Winter blues. Check out our favorites, and say goodbye to your plain, silver laptops for good!
Personalizing your tech goodies is more popular than ever thanks to cases, skins, and other accoutrements to personalize phones, laptops, and any other gadget you can imagine! Now, hilarious t-shirt site BustedTees (makers of one of my favorite geeky t-shirts of all time) has partnered with GelaSkins on a new line of decals.
The new designs, available for a variety of devices from the new HTC EVO 4G to the iPhone to your laptop or iPod, all feature witty and hilarious designs by the BustedTees crew and range from $15-$30 depending on the device. Each one is funnier than the next — I can't pick a favorite!

I won't lie — I'm in love with these Yoshi laptop decals from Etsy. Choose between a solo Yoshi for $10 or with his sidekick, Baby Mario, for $7. Yoshi is close to my heart, being one of my favorite characters from the Mario series (Yoshi's Island, anyone?), so I would slap one of these on my computer in a heartbeat. Adding to the fun, you can order them in different colors if you have a fave.
My latest favorite LG-themed find: the Fame Game Gaga Laptop Decal, $13 on Etsy. These vinyl decals are popping up all over the place, but I'm most excited for this latest rendition. The seller is able to produce the decal in other colors, too, so if you're looking for something bright and over-the-top (like Gaga, of course), just ask!
If the Twilight laptop skin isn't your thing, then maybe this selection of cool and geeky ones will be. I first found this awesome Snow White laptop decal (which reminded me of yet another Twilight-themed decal), which incorporates your Apple logo into the piece. But then I kept browsing the shop and got hooked on all of the totally geeky decals, which can be used on your laptop, your Kindle, your walls, or wherever you want to stick 'em.
Good news is that these decals were made to be attached and then pulled off later, so you won't have any sticky residue after you've outgrown your artsy vinyl. Plus, with prices starting at $13 each, you can't really go wrong. Check out a few more of my faves below!

As more details emerge about the upcoming New Moon movie, I'm going to channel my Twilight love into my laptop and consider getting one of these New Moon laptop skins ($20) which just so happen to feature our favorite characters including Edward, Jacob, Alice, and Bella.
And for the same price, don't forget to check out the Twilight apple decal too!
If you're somehow not familiar with the artwork and phrase, it's an old British wartime sentiment, resuscitated for posters and other goods, and now it's made it to your computer with the Keep Calm and Carry On Laptop Decal ($20).
It's a good attitude to have if you're particularly stressed at work (or home) sometimes, but the phrase may be a little overused. What do you think?
These days, adult Twilight obsessions are accepted (especially on geek) — seriously, pretty much everyone at Sugar HQ has given in and gotten hooked at some point. And if there's another thing I'm into, it's dressing up my laptop, so this Twilight Laptop Decal ($20) that has the apple cut out for the Mac Apple is seriously rad.
There's only one available, so I'll be surprised if it's still up for grabs by the time you see this post — although the seller says it could be available for you again. I hope the same is true for Robert Pattinson.
Etsy seller michellechristina is back (we debuted her colorful creations last year) with more designs to choose from and in many more hot colors. My latest fave? Her collection of bubble decals which will spruce up the exterior of your laptop for only $13. If the pink is a bit too much for you, I also like the subtle white, black, and silver designs. And if you really want to go color crazy, there's a rainbow of colors to choose from.
