All you DanceDanceRevolution fans will be pleased to hear that the creators of DanceDanceRevolution Universe2 have released the artists and song list for the game, which is set to release this winter. It will include fun songs by Franz Ferdinand, Outkast, Herbie Hancock, Ferry Corsten, Kool and the Gang, Men Without Hats and my favorite, The Bangles.

DanceDanceRevolution Universe2 also introduces a Freestyle Mode that allows you to dance without the use of directional arrows, which is great for people with two left feet, or those of us who like to use DDR as an intense workout! A new Quest Mode lets you build your own character use it in online play via Xbox LIVE, challenging fellow online players, unlock new songs and download new music for the game. If I've learned anything at all about the Nintendo DS this year it's that Americans aren't using the handheld device to its fullest potential. Sure we aren't afraid of covering them with Swarovski Crystal Covers or giving them out to VIP airline passengers, but we haven't started using them as portable life coaches, yoga instructors and wine guides like the Japanese have.

Konami, the company that brought the wondrous DDR into our lives, has created a virtual beauty adviser game with real life beauty adviser Chizu Saiki (see her picture in gallery).

The game, which is appropriately named Dream Skincare, will release this fall in Japan. It's being marketed as a fun, easy beauty experience. Apparently, the game checks your physical and emotional health every day through a series of questions, allows you to input your meals, body temperature and body weight daily, stores a personalized daily schedule and provides dietary advice and healthy recipes. Who doesn't want that?

Childhood obesity has been a growing problem, and West Virginia has the worst problem in the U.S. - but they've decided to do something to battle the bulge.

Goodbye sweaty gym class, hello Konami's Dance Dance Revolution. They are planning to put one in every one of the public schools to help put a halt to weight gain. I love this idea - I applaud anything that gets kids excited about moving their bodies and staying healthy.

Heck if this 5-year old can hack it, anyone can.
