Digital photo frames have replaced developed film in many homes. Some companies have even turned the geeky frames into decorative items themselves, such as Hannspree's Polar Bear frame. While digi frames offer more features such as slideshows, automatic reorientation, calendar, and clock displays, I think there's something to be said for choosing a single favorite photograph and giving it a permanent place behind glass. You know Hannspree, the maker of those adorable TVs for kids? Well the company has decided to dip into the Netbook market with the launch of the 10-inch LED-backlit LCD HannsNote. Said to be priced at $379, this little book will come in black-or-white and feature a 1.3-megapixel webcam, 1GB of RAM and Windows XP. One can only hope that they whip up some of these in their kid-friendly animal designs! Elephant netbook anyone?
