Gearing up for the Fall semester can be expensive, especially if you're buying your supplies at full price. Plus, between dorm life, computers, and other essentials, your long list of must haves can get pretty overwhelming. Thankfully, I'll be sussing out the best deals on some great back-to-school supplies for you every week through the month of August. First up, a few laptop deals you don't want to miss, and some accessories you may not be able to walk away from.
I know I said that the Vivienne Tam HP Mini Netbook was a January Must Have, but I think it deserves to be a Valentine's Day must have as well. The color, the functionality, the fact that it fits in your purse (In. Your. Purse.) . . . I honestly can't get enough. And I'm feeling a little guilty since the mark up on this baby is over $300 dollars, but it's just so hard to say no to a gadget this beautiful.
So if you're lucky enough to get your hands on one, and looking for something to go along with your new netbook, check out these red Heart Earbuds for a more reasonable $12. These two are totally made for each other.
I've been there before: I wanted a certain gadget for Christmas, but due to financial constraints, availability, or just plain oversight, I did not find them in my stocking or under the tree come Christmas morning. It's gonna be OK. Take all that cash you've accumulated from your relatives, or just go ahead and splurge (you never know when prices will dip this low again) and get what you really wanted for Christmas. Check out my picks on gadgets you didn't get for Christmas, but should buy for yourself anyway in this slideshow.
Thankfully, I have a gadget guy of my own at home, so this gift guide should be a breeze to present.
It seems there can never be enough trinkets and goodies of the electronic persuasion under the tree, no matter how useless some of them may seem. Does your guy really need a dark room projector? Probably not, but this is Christmas — the perfect time to give the ultimate geeky gift someone would never buy for himself.
Check out my picks for the gadget guy in the widget below, then swing by HolidaySugar for even more gift giving inspiration.
