Familiar with all of the pocket-sized Flip Video Cameras? Well the tiniest of the Flip family — the Flip Mino — has just introduced a new camera to its Flip MinoHD line.

You can now pick up a new MinoHD for $230 which can record up to 120 minutes of footage (which is double the time from the previous version) and it features a new 2-inch anti-glare display.

The 120 min MinoHD is currently only available in brushed metal, but after Nov. 9, you'll be able to personalize your new Mino with an image of your own or one from The Flip's design gallery.

Now that the new iPod Nano is here, we're all elated at the fact that it features a larger, 2.2-inch LCD display and a built-in FM radio tuner, but the best part has got to be the included video camera. Being the owner of a Flip Video Camera — which is pocket-sized and very user friendly — I was tempted to see if the video quality on the new Nano is comparable to the Flip. The NewTeeVee crew decided to put both to the test in a side-by-side comparison.

As you'll see, the Flip quality is much better than the Nano, but if you were to compare the Nano to some cell phone video cameras, the Nano would win. Considering the fact that the 8GB Nano (which records up to eight hours of footage) only costs $149, it's not too shabby for a camera that you can easily put in your purse or back pocket — and hey, it even plays music!

Last night at the Teen Choice Awards in LA, funnywoman Ellen DeGeneres made sure to capture every eventful moment with her pocket-size Flip Mino Camcorder. This isn't the first time we've seen her accept an award while filming the entire experience; back in 2006 at the 32nd Annual People's Choice Awards, she brought along her Sony Handycam. And just in case you were wondering, she won "Choice Twit" for being the favorite Twitterer! You can check out more pics of her with her black Flip below.

The best thing I learned in kindergarten was that sharing is caring, and that's still one of my major tenets. It's one for Flip Video too — the company whose simple, portable video cameras made it easy to capture video is now making it just as easy to share the videos you make with your camera with new FlipShare software, just announced today.

FlipShare allows you to easily upload videos to websites like YouTube and MySpace, email them to friends, and sets you up with your own Flip Channel, where you can watch videos on the go. Speaking of on the go, there's also a new free FlipShare iPhone app.
