Well, it seems that not even the powers of Safari can help me preorder an iPhone 4. Although I was hoping to reserve a white 32GB version today, I figured that since they aren't available to order yet, I might as well go with black. It's neutral — it goes with everything! However, instead of feeling the excited rush after clicking "Process," I got this message after selecting my model, entering in my information, and clicking on the "Check Availability" icon.

I'm not the only one running into problems with getting my preorder on — AT&T's internal system went down this morning, and there have been insane preorder lines in Japan. Your best bet to processing your preorder may be to head into an Apple Store today and deal with them directly. However, you could give a few third-party retailers a shot as well.
