HitchedPic Keeps Everybody on the Same Page (Er, App)

After months of coordinating planning between bridesmaids, groom, and in-laws, you deserve a day where everyone is on the same page.

After months of coordinating planning between bridesmaids, groom, and in-laws, you deserve a day where everyone is on the same page. Meet your new partner in digital bliss: HitchedPic (free), an app that creates a custom page for weddings where you can direct guests to share all their photos of your big day, look up essential schedule details, and find venue directions — all in one place.

After creating a HitchedPic account, couples receive a unique code, which guests use to download the app and get vital wedding day information, plus share all of their photos with the newlyweds and crosspost those snaps to Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram or send via email. HitchedPic has filters, stickers, and frames built in, so all of your amateur photographers can add that little extra somethin' to their images.

Sharing photos and getting directions on a mobile device comes second nature for most, which is why HitchedPic may be the easiest way to keep your tech-savvy guests in the loop. The only downside? HitchedPic is only available for iOS, so you'll have to get photos from your Android-loving guests the traditional way: e-harassment.

Why You'll Say Goodbye to Siri After Getting Google Now

After rolling unwillingly out of bed, what's the first thing you check on your phone?

After rolling unwillingly out of bed, what's the first thing you check on your phone? The weather? The score to the Warriors game? The day's agenda? For all of the essential info you need right when you wake up, there's an app for that: Google Search (free) for iOS with Google Now.

Google Now is a hyper-personalized, location-based search feature that answers questions before you even think to ask them. Only Android devices were compatible with Google Now — until today's Google Search push for iPhone and iPad, that is.

We know what you iDevice users are thinking: mobile Safari already comes with Google search built in. Why would an iPhone need another search app with voice activation, especially when it's already got Siri? Get Google Now and you'll see. Discover why this know-it-all app will replace Siri and mobile Safari search on your smartphone.

Wikiweb, a Better (and More Beautiful) Way to Explore Wikipedia

Wasting time on Wikipedia is a crime that we're not ashamed to admit.

Wasting time on Wikipedia is a crime that we're not ashamed to admit. How else would we have found this totally trivial — but amazing — list of the handedness of US presidents? How else would Aziz Ansari have learned everything there is to know about Joe Pesci?

Jumping into a Wikipedia wormhole is a beautiful thing but, the truth is, the open-source, online encyclopedia is not. Wikiweb ($3) is an app for iPhone and iPad that takes all the content Wikipedia has to offer, and displays it in a clean, design-forward interface with fun animations.

Wikiweb also enhances the knowledge quest experience by showing a web of how disparate articles are connected. The app shows different areas of inquiry and articles related to that field's history. Curious minds can investigate further by zooming in on high-resolution images, quickly swiping through different articles, or changing between 100 different languages.

So dig in, information huntsman! Download the app and go where your curiosity takes you.

WeddingHappy Helps Plan Little Details For the Big Day

Brides-to-be who are planning their own big day need not be overwhelmed by all the little details.

Brides-to-be who are planning their own big day need not be overwhelmed by all the little details. WeddingHappy (free, with in-app upgrades) for iPhone is a task management and vendor information app that takes charge of everything on a wedding checklist and then some.

Enter in the planned wedding date, and WeddingHappy will build a custom checklist with suggested due dates to complete tasks like completing the gift registry or booking a florist. The main dashboard displays how much you've completed and what the next steps are, so you can quickly keep track of your nuptials's progress. Unlike many other apps, WeddingHappy can be used offline, which is especially useful when you need the address of the venue right away and your data connection is fuzzy.

The free version limits the number of tasks you can add to your list. The $3 in-app upgrade offers unlimited tasks plus a wedding day countdown. Exporting the entire schedule and vendor information to a printable PDF or CSV text file also requires a $3 upgrade. Either in-app purchase will remove ads.

Now that you've got the planning and organization under control, get inspired with new themes by Appy Couple or some creative ideas for a superhero wedding. And don't forget about these seven essential questions to ask your wedding photographer!

Temporary Phone Numbers to Keep Your Real Digits Private

Whether you're putting up a sublet on Craigslist or selling your old sneaks on eBay, temporary phone numbers are a great way to contact strangers (or vice versa) without having to give up your real digits.

Whether you're putting up a sublet on Craigslist or selling your old sneaks on eBay, temporary phone numbers are a great way to contact strangers (or vice versa) without having to give up your real digits. Disposable numbers add that extra layer of privacy when communication is necessary, but email just won't do.

These apps offer a wide array of services for short-lived numbers, including SMS, voice calling, recording, and voicemail, among others. Keep in mind that most temp numbers can't make calls to 911 or other emergency services, and do not support SMS. But if you're just looking for a safe, secure line, these temporary number apps will help you stay sleuthy.

6 Stereostopic Photo Apps For 3D Snaps That Pop

Dresses, cafes, and our favorite dinosaur movie .

Dresses, cafes, and our favorite dinosaur movie . . . no stone is left unturned when it comes to 3D technology. The 3D revolution has begun, and you can get in on one of the biggest trends in tech without all the complicated computer modeling or an expensive printer. Bring your photos to life with 3D camera apps that'll make your snaps pop!

Most of these apps use stereoscopy, a technique that creates the illusion of a three-dimensional image using two two-dimensional images. Check out these eye-popping photo apps for iOS, and share your best 3D snaps with us.

  • Jittergram (free) — This is probably our favorite app of the bunch, because it has the best UI and the fastest processing time. Make a 3D stereogram, GIF, or stop-motion animation, and then share through Twitter, Facebook, or email.
  • 3D Camera ($2) — The app's camera has advanced alignment tools to ensure anaglyphs are all lined up. There are also advanced controls for stereogram alignment dots, image size, and color. Create wigglegrams, GIFs, and anaglyphs, and then share on Facebook or Twitter.
  • 3D Photo Creator ($2) — In addition to having 3D photo creation tools, this straightforward app shows you how stereoscopy works.

Ketchup (free) is a new iOS app that may help solve a unique problem: flaky friends. Are you always hearing, "let's hang out sometime"? Ketchup, a mobile- and web-based planner, ensures friends make good on that promise.

Friends send and accept invitations to do activities like coffee, lunch, dancing, drinks, or just hanging out. If you don't like what you see, you can respond with a variety of canned responses: a polite "It seems we can't make this happen" or a very straightforward "I'm focusing on my relationship." Once you've committed to an activity, there are only two options, complete or "flake."

Users need a Facebook account to use the app, but friends can be contacted via email or SMS if they're not on Ketchup. There's a web version of Ketchup as well, so you can make sure you're all caught up with invitations even without a mobile device.

Do you think Ketchup can cure your case of flaky friends? Download the app and let us know if you feel in "control of your social life." Watch how Ketchup works after the break.

Doctor Who: EyeStalk ($2) is an iOS app that will exterminate photo boredom and transform your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch into the Doctor's oldest archenemy, an evil breed of cyborg known as Dalek. To celebrate the return of season seven, the official BBC-licensed app got an update that includes even more authentic Dalek effects.

EyeStalk comes with seven different Dalek filters based on the long-running British science-fiction series, including a blue monochromatic "Doomsday" lens and the most recently added "Asylum" gray monochromatic style. Take a photo from the app or choose from the Camera Roll and change Dalek effects by swiping left and right. Then share your "doctored" image to Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Evernote, email, or SMS.

There's also video mode, which will transpose Dalek vision over your mini motion picture — just like the show! Give EyeStalk a download and don't worry about Daleks taking over your phone (it's the WiFi you have to worry about).
