The DODOcase already covers iPads and Kindles in wooden perfection, and now the company is bringing that love to the new BlackBerry PlayBook. The BlackBerry PlayBook DODOcase ($60) wraps the new, seven-inch tablet in Moroccan cloth and sturdy wood to protect PlayBooks on all sides. You can choose between four different interior-cloth colors to match your mood. Available today (as is the PlayBook itself in 16, 32, or 64GB versions starting at $499), you're totally prepared to hit the conference room in style. Check out more images in the gallery!
The first time I laid eyes on the DODOcase, I fell in love. The case, originally intended to protect your iPad, came in Kindle-size shortly after. Now there's another pretty version to lust after: the Valentine's Case For iPad ($75), which comes in a sweet and seasonal red hue. Add it to the list of lovely red tech treats perfect for V-Day giving.
The cover is made from faux red leather and lined with bamboo. Fold the case back to prop your iPad, and an elastic strap holds the device tight when it's in your bag. There's even a gold embossed heart on the case's spine — adorable! Only 40 of these limited-edition DODOcase are being produced, so grab one for your valentine before they're gone!
I pretty much flipped for the DODOcase for the iPad when it hit the streets earlier this year, mostly because I have a "thing" for Moleskine, but limiting itself to just the iPad? No, no. That just won't do.
Thankfully the company that makes the case has expanded its horizons with the latest DODOcase for Kindle ($50) edition. Using the same quality construction as the previous model (which includes a tough leather exterior and bamboo interior), the DODOcase is strong, stylish, and totally customizable with six different interior hues. It would be a great gift for the Kindle lover in your world!
