Bedazzled tech accessories are nothing new under the sun of flairful tech accessories, but iPhone cases made of genuine stone? That's a hard act to follow. Case-Mate has just introduced its new Gemstones Collection, crafted from some of the most exquisite mineral stones. The petite collection includes three styles: white howlite with rose-gold inflections, turquoise with warm gold striations, and jet gemstone with pyrite inclusions. Each is beautifully contrasted with a complementary brushed aluminum frame. Ringing up at $150 each, we'll consider these investment jewelry.
BlackBerry's new toy, the Z10, was introduced today, and smartphone accessories maker Case-Mate already has the gear you need to outfit the phone in style. We initially wrote about the Case-Mate Quartet Case ($35) back in Jan. 2011, but the colorful snap-together case saw a resurgence of sorts at CES after Case-Mate invited attendees to mix-and-match their own from bins of rainbow-colored pieces. Expo-goers seemed to flock to the booth and spent extended periods of time sifting through each bin to find the perfect color theme for their smartphones. Much to the disappointment of Android, BlackBerry, and Windows Phone users though, the Quartet Case (and similar Colorways Case) are limited to the iPhone 4/4S for now.
Designed alongside French designer Erik Arlen, each case comes with six pieces to create an evolving look for your phone, with five different color combinations and themes, including Chantilly lace, high contrast, sensuous silk, rustic tweed, and vintage flannel.
We've had a sneaking suspicion that the iPhone 5 will come with a thinner and wider body, thanks to all the rumors that have surfaced over the past few months. If these images from Case-Mate are any indication, our suspicions might be spot-on.
iPhone accessory manufacturer Case-Mate posted images of its iPhone 5 case lineup on its website this morning, showing off what the iPhone 5's body might look like. The cases have a very iPad-like back, a slimmer profile, and rounded edges, which takes a step away from the flat-paneled body that came with the iPhone 4.

Want to keep Summer around for the next few months? Slap on the Case-Mate Colorways Case ($30) on your iPhone 4, and take it with you wherever you go. The bright and cheery colors of this case can make anyone happy, and the construction of the case is interesting, too. Coming in three parts, you click the top and bottom parts into place via the middle-blue body portion, making a cool and colorful pattern.
