Case-Mate Quartet Case Makes a Comeback at CES
We initially wrote about the Case-Mate Quartet Case ($35) back in Jan. 2011, but the colorful snap-together case saw a resurgence of sorts at CES after Case-Mate invited attendees to mix-and-match their own from bins of rainbow-colored pieces. Expo-goers seemed to flock to the booth and spent extended periods of time sifting through each bin to find the perfect color theme for their smartphones. Much to the disappointment of Android, BlackBerry, and Windows Phone users though, the Quartet Case (and similar Colorways Case) are limited to the iPhone 4/4S for now.

Designed alongside French designer Erik Arlen, each case comes with six pieces to create an evolving look for your phone, with five different color combinations and themes, including Chantilly lace, high contrast, sensuous silk, rustic tweed, and vintage flannel.
Case-Mate Posts Images of iPhone 5 Cases Online
We've had a sneaking suspicion that the iPhone 5 will come with a thinner and wider body, thanks to all the rumors that have surfaced over the past few months. If these images from Case-Mate are any indication, our suspicions might be spot-on.
iPhone accessory manufacturer Case-Mate posted images of its iPhone 5 case lineup on its website this morning, showing off what the iPhone 5's body might look like. The cases have a very iPad-like back, a slimmer profile, and rounded edges, which takes a step away from the flat-paneled body that came with the iPhone 4.
Check out all of the designs (that are already priced from $15-$40) and links to their product pages in the gallery.
