This year, start your postturkey exercise early, since Target stores will open Thursday, Nov. 22, at 9 p.m. I repeat, Black Friday sales at Target actually start on Thursday, as in, Thanksgiving Day. No pressure.

We'll run through the quick basics, so whether you are taking pictures of food, scenery, or your friends at a party, you'll have flawless shots.

Canon's Mode Dial is comprised of two function zones: the creative zone and the basic zone. The creative zone features more manual settings and requires detailed knowledge of setting ISO, aperture, and shutter speed. The green rectangle represents the Full Auto setting and separates the two-function zone. The picture images are within the basic zone that includes a series of automatic image settings. So, here's a quick rundown of your dial's settings.
