2009 was the year for home shopping. It felt as though every other story involved either QVC or HSN. Everyone from Isaac Mizrahi to Serena Williams, Rachel Zoe to Rami Kashou hooked up with one of these networks, bringing their delectable goodies to the masses. One of the most exciting collaborations was between Molly Sims and HSN — Grayce by Molly Sims proved to be a totally stellar art deco-inspired jewelry collection. Click through to learn more.
When it comes to down-to-earth moms, there is no competition for Jennifer Garner. The jean-wearing, sneaker-loving, baby-slinging mama knows how to use Violet's bobby pins to her advantage when doing the preschool pickup. And when a run to the grocery is in her future, the dimpled mommy has no problem going au naturale and facing the paparazzi sans makeup. While earning 65 percent of LilSugar votes, the brunette babe also knows how to turn on the hot stuff when she's got a red carpet to walk.

Whether you love her or hate her, you have to admit, 2009 was Lady Gaga's year. Our Fabcon started the year off with fearless ensembles — mainly sans pants — and continued with Madonna-caliber fierceness. She even had the honor of meeting Queen Elizabeth II. I recently saw Gaga in concert, and all I can say is, she's insanely sexy, forward, and inspirational. I look forward to more Gaga madness in '10, but in the meantime, check out her daring '09 ensembles.
Considering that Giada at Home is one of the few Food Network shows we look forward to watching, Giada de Laurentiis has also earned a place in our hearts as the year's favored female chef. We've featured many of her reliable recipes — pesto, clams casino, brie and chocolate panini — here on YumSugar, we thoroughly enjoyed her demonstration at Aspen last June, and we look forward to experimenting with more of her dishes in 2010. Cheers to Giada!
